jigsaw was sort of sinister but very morale. all he wanted was for people to appriciate being alive . instead of writing a book or somthin he put people in traps and asks them to escape . i like his morale values though.

While it makes for interesting fiction [that Jigsaw is promoting the morals of appreciating life), this isn't a logical moral standpoint. While he gives some people an opportunity to escape and appreciate their life, there are many other people whose lives are taken who have no control of their outcome.

i believe the most interesting concept of the saw movies is it shows how man is always looking for ways to redeem himself. thats why i believe there are very few people who are truly athiests. if that is true why the frantic need that so many people have to try to redeems themselves

Horror trilogy? That's been exceeded now! Come the release of Saw VI, the Jigsaw Killer will have been dead for half of the films! Why is this still going?

Had Saw III been a better film with more plot in it (that's when the primary theme became the violent deaths and traps, the original, apart from the bathroom only had about ten minutes worth of traps), and tied up loose ends (Almost every character is dead!), it could have been the perfect horror trilogy. But no.

If you look at it, the Saw series does have a self-contained trilogy as the first three centered around Jigsaw and Amanda. Now after that, Hoffman is the central character.

I personally love the movies. The fact that Jigsaw, whoever plays him, is more of an anti-hero rather than a straight up monster like Freddy or Jason is refreshing for a horror movie.

Technically the saw series was intended to be a trilogy, but seeing as it recieved such high ratings, the Creators decided to go along with more movies. i personally doubt that they are going to stop at 6 movies, Because it seems with ever diffrent saw movie their is a twist... they only say their will be 6 movies because thats what tobin bell signed up for..
