Emo use to be considered a music genre that means emotional, now it's a fucking clique/fashion.. Punk rock kinda lost it too. Even though some punk bands are still around, you also have poser bands who classify themselves as punk when they're basically just pop.

The whole style is just a phase and it's eventually gonna dye out. So many people quit dressing that way because they finally realized they looked retarded.
