Dear ArcAlatus, our current prototype units do required refill as you had mentioned. The bubble refill is in the front of the unit and takes less than 10 sec. once every 2 weeks. The other haze and smell are 1-2 times per year based in the usage.
We don't offer these units as we have not reached a volume that will make it a consumer product, however for a more commercial application small parks etc. we can build to order.
This provides the consumer with a 4D experience, similar to the one in theme park yet it is designed to work in the home theater environment.
Each movie / DVD has a file that can be downloaded via the web and once the system (2-3 sec) detect the movie it load the file and synchronized the special effect that you can see in the clips to the video content (i.e., haze when there is explosion, wind, lights etc.)
This is not yet produced at a consumer level and used for display only.
The goal is to have it priced at a range of $250-$500
