@jcmknl2005 I trapped 106 in mine stock with a 1.98 60'. 110 is a bit outta reach though. A mid to low 12 with a good rear/gear/tire combo + bolt on's is definitely reachable. Its not a 4.6l motor its a 5.7l. Look at how the extra displacement helped the new 5.0.

yea any manual tran v8 car is a good match for an auto v8. but take it to the track. the auto will come out of the whole every time alot better than the stick, esp with a stall!

ls1 camaro and trans ams were underrated horse power to make the ls1 vette look better when it was exactly the same. all ls1 motors had 345 hp and 350 ft pounds of torque thats motor not sure wat rwhp is

Just factory claims. LS1's are known to make more at the crank than what is claimed. Looks close to right, as the A4 really isn't as aggressive at higher speeds as it's M6 sister. Going into 3rd stock can kill you, second gear lasts until about 85-87mph. A solid launch though from this car can more than make up for it at the standing 1/4 mile.

If your referring to the post below about the "base" LS1 F-body horsepower ratings, it is exactly how I stated it. Notice I said "rating". The '98 -00 (ls1 intake) Z28/Formula/Trans-Am were rated at 305hp, '01-02 (ls6 intake) cars rated at 310. Of course the ram-air cars (SS/WS6) were rated at 320hp (98-00) & 325hp (01-02).
Now in reality these cars will put down 290-310rwhp in stock form, so it's safe to say they put out around 340-350hp at the flywheel which is basically what the C5 Corvette was rated.
I dunno where you got 375-380hp from because that's off the mark, and I dunno why you think only the Formula would be rated at a lower 285hp when they share the same LS1 powerplant as the Z28 & T/A???
Then again, there a lot of things that leave me scratching my brain. LOL ;-)

@M1K3999 That was a N/A cobra...get your facts straight. The 03-04's came stock with Eaton's but this a close race. Also before you start running your mouth how much more cubic inches bigger is the LS1...1.4 liters...so even without the blower it kept up with the Camaro. Great race to both as well!

I've tried to tell people many times that a 99/01 Cobra is a good match for an LS1 "AUTO" - Not M6. A 6-speed LS1 would take one with ease.

@zr1ls9vette The vette had the LS6 intake manifold and in some years different heads, 241-243 and also different cam profiles, very close engines but not exactly the same, eventually in 01-02 they put the larger heads and better cam profile in the camaro and also the LS6 intake manifold.

Just factory claims. LS1's are known to make more at the crank than what is claimed. Looks close to right, as the A4 really isn't as aggressive at higher speeds as it's M6 sister. Going into 3rd stock can kill you, second gear lasts until about 85-87mph. A solid launch though from this car can more than make up for it at the standing 1/4 mile.

If your referring to the post below about the "base" LS1 F-body horsepower ratings, it is exactly how I stated it. Notice I said "rating". The '98 -00 (ls1 intake) Z28/Formula/Trans-Am were rated at 305hp, '01-02 (ls6 intake) cars rated at 310. Of course the ram-air cars (SS/WS6) were rated at 320hp (98-00) & 325hp (01-02).

Now in reality these cars will put down 290-310rwhp in stock form, so it's safe to say they put out around 340-350hp at the flywheel which is basically what the C5 Corvette was rated.
I dunno where you got 375-380hp from because that's off the mark, and I dunno why you think only the Formula would be rated at a lower 285hp when they share the same LS1 powerplant as the Z28 & T/A???
Then again, there a lot of things that leave me scratching my brain. LOL ;-)
