Also, is it possible to have 2 swords at once in this game?
Or 2 of any other weapon at once, for that matter?

@DukeOnkled You can fill all 3 slots with the same weapon if you really want to. Using two swords at once will cause you to do a different attack on the third slash. The attack is different between player 1 and player 2.
