  • Yes there are mostly common bleak (Alburnus alburnus), roach (Rutilus rutilus) and there are one perch (Perca fluviatilis) swimming down in the right side of the picture at around 30 seconds.

Confirmed to use the ladder are also pike (Esox lucius), common breem (Abramis brama), asp (Aspius aspius) and probably also Ide (Leuciscus idus).

  • Are they "Alburnus alburnus"

  • some of them are common roach, aren't they?

  • @snuffles1111 Yes! Non of the fish in the video is asp. Most of the fish in the video is Common Bleak, but there are Roach (Rutilus rutilus) and (one) perch.

  • This fishladder works very well. It is 50m long and the elevation is around 2,3m. It was built mainly to help the Asp (Aspius aspius) to reach new spawning grounds.

  • @flucker77 thank you for this description :)

I'm not any kind of fish expert, I just LOVE fish, and trying to learn more about them, starting with learning their English names... :)
