Whoever can pay more can get better breeded or earning Groom! for their daughter and the parents of the bride can proudly proclaim to relatives that they got the BEST.

I respond India worn and advice all N.R.I. not to get marriage to Indian girl because they are after money and a right for foreign land. If N.R.I. wants to ruin the life of there children than go a head .

All supporters of 498a laws, are against changing it and justify the misuse by saying that other laws are also misused.

But there is a crucial difference.  Modern judicial system prides itself in saying that every individual in "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY", but in 498a laws, every accused is guilty until proven innocent.

There is evil nexus of politicians, judiciary,police,lawyers etc behind framing such loose laws which have become tools of extortion.First they file 498a agianst husband n family then same people demand huge money from husband to settle the divorce. What a joke our laws are?

where there is an option to blackmail and extortion how is mediation gonna work for inherently greedy women? Sky is the limit for the greedy.. Most of them are asking like 50lakhs 1crore etc !!!

Meenakshi ji, mediation works only if both sides are on the equal footing. If the guy faces imminent threat of arrest then how can he negotiate a fair deal?
