@0201mac I just lost my fawn boxer, Allie, last January. Still miss her so much. I have had boxers for over 25 years. I want a fawn and a brindle--both female, I have had boxers since 1983 when I got my first boxer who was a brindle female. Then I got a female fawn from and ad in the newspaper. They were such a great pair! Fawn wound up being the alpha dog and once that issue was settled they were best friends for life. My goal is to bet another pair of females--one brindle, one fawn.

@horsecentral65 they are the best dogs ever, a Dream to train. The only thing is they don't realise how big they are and can unintentionally be a bit rough. When the puppy is little you should discuss with a doctor getting it's dew claws removed as they use their paws alot and they can hurt.

Otherwise enjoy, you will never get any other breed once you have had a boxer.

The greatest thing about Boxers is, they never grow up! I've had mine since he was 6 weeks, and in 8 years, he hasn't changed. He's only gotten bigger.

There actually is no such thing as a black boxer. It's a bridle where the black stripes take over the lighter brown color which gives it a black coat. Boxers are the best dogs, I ave one with 25% American bulldog and a pure breed. I had 4 at one time once.

@franky1833 - Its actually a Brindle,not Bridle, may be just a typo. Not being picky but if poeple look up Bridle they won't find what they are looking for. I love Brindle boxers, but am partial to the ones with more white on their faces. It's a personal taste choice like any breed, I suppose.Cheers!

@franky1833 actually black boxers are not rare anymore, i had a litter of pups 2 years ago and had a black one and kept a brindle, its just the same as with white boxers it's a colour that has always been in their genes but just doesn't show too often, how could you get black great danes and not black boxers when boxers were bred from great danes and german bulldogs (bullenbeisser)
