waay too rough, unnecessarily rough with the baby. modern medicine needs to revamp practice here. The suctioning is totally out of control here... and what's the point of separating the mother and child right after birth? totally sterile situation these days. so sad :(

I think the reason he wasn't placed on her stomach quickly was because the birth was so fast that it caused the baby to be "juicy" meaning he still had a lot of fluid in his lungs. He need some oxygen that I saw.

I can't believe the Dr didn't place the baby on the Mom's stomach immediately after it was born. How long did she have to wait before she could hold him? That's crazy to me, I'd be like, "Give me my damn baby, now!" But, she did make the labor and delivery look easy, that's for sure.
