  • 80's genesis was still good. just different. their early work of course is the crowning achievement of genesis

  • Awesome!! Yes, this is the REAL Genesis. And I know what I like.......

  • Absolutely amazing! Peter Gabriel and Steve Hacket were so essential to the magic

that was the REAL Genesis , not the pop outfit that followed in their wake. Although

I could never kick Phil ,Tony , and Mike to the curb-------------- Just a completely

different Musical and lyrical direction! Ahh still resonates through the years. Like any masterpiece----- Timeless. Thank you Tom!

  • One things is true this is Genesis and from here they got to what we known about the geneisis today, they are very good. This song was and still the best song of Genesis.

  • GENESIS "SUPPER'S READY"

  • Uh oh. Collins is wearing his own merch at 3:24. That's ok. Great song

  • Oh man that's not phil collins, that's Peter Gabriel! First and best Frontman of Genesis!

At this Point of Genesis Band History Phil Collins is only the drummer

  • only the drummer ? what an undestatement..........

  • @anarchist005 only the drummer? he was an AMAZING drummer... took Bill Bruford of all people to afford Collins from stepping out initially from the drum set...

  • "Six saintly shrouded men move across the lawn slowly. The seventh walks in front...with a cross held high in hand. And it's..."

  • grande, adoro questo pezzo!!

  • i'm sixteen and i really like this music but are they thinking about a new concert?? i'd like to go there!

  • This is music, real serious stuff, not todays crap.

  • Such a handsome young fellow! Nature's cruel. it didn't cost much back then and there was real talent on stage.

  • They should have stuck to music like this instead have moving towards being more commercial!

  • I cant believe it! I was there at De Montfort Hall. I was 16. Never forget. Nothing like it before or since! Foxtrot!

  • omg r u serious?

  • Awesome quality they perform this song so well live, one of the kings of progressive music!!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!

    FANTASTIC!!!

  • There's a lot of good music today, and I'm so happy to live in a country where I can work and play music when I'm at home. And listening to this piece of art, I feel so happy and warm. God, I'm glad to live and to listen to this beautiful music. An advice for travellers: listen also to King Crimson's masterpiece 'In the court of ....'. You"ll love it. You know CSN&Y, Yes, Pink Floyd, I guess. Ever heard of Motorpsycho's Phanerothyme? Or 'Sweet Smoke'? Also nice. Have a good time. Live your life.

  • I don't know how they managed it but they were about 10 times better live than on the record, and they were amazing on the record in the first place.

  • absolutely- saw them from 1st row doing lamb in montreal in dec '74-i am still in awe of that performance---

  • I wish I could have seen them in the 70s. I'm still hopeing that they will reunite with Peter Gabriel.

  • saw them in Philly for the first time in '72, and 28 times right up to last year.

They were unbelievable with Peter, and were still amazing without....up to the year after the Wind and Wuthering tour...... after that....Phil took the band down the pop road to shitsville!!

  • I first saw them in dec 74 with Peter Gabriel on the Lamb Lies down on Broadway tour...and as much as I thought Phil was and is a great drummer (some of drumming with Brand X is awesome) I totally agree with you on the downfall of the banc as it rose in sale$...Follow you will you follow me??? Crap...

  • fantastic!

  • Oops I count 12 strings at the guitar. Haven't a clue as yet. :) A Time of live I clutch at this kind of music. Regard it very well.
