That is a ridiculous statement by fiveboy777, who I assume must be a WV resident. Nobody else in the entire country would have a negative comment about a quality coach and person like Rich Rodriguez. This is America people, and we have the right to change jobs to better ourselves. There is no good time of year to quit that kind of job, but you have to do it when the opportunity is available. WV did not suffer. They won their bowl game that he led them to. Stop the sour grapes and move on.
We'll move on when he does the right thing buy paying the 4 million buyout that he signed in AUG. This is best for both schools because it keeps him out of the courts and lets him focus on his current job. Beside, he should pay it now because there is no way that he'll win his case. Pay it now, or pay it later (when forced), which option is best for Michigan?
I have no doubt that the legal system will conclude whatever is correct regarding binding agreements and buyout clauses. I have no issue with that. As a football fan, that's none of my business.
