These R160s are nice when it comes to the map and destination, but I just dont like the seating arrangement. It seems too cluttered, Id take a R32 or R40 any day inside over this.

The only difference is the R-160A car numbers 4 car set numbers are 8313-8652 and 5 car set number are 8653-8712 and R-160B 5 car set number are 8713-8972!

another difference between the R160A and R160B is the way they open/close the doors!

R160A-1 (8313-8462) runs on the J L M Z lines

R160A-2 (8653-8662) runs on the N line.

R160B (8713-8917) run on the N line

a GO made all N trains run on the R track from 57 St/7 Av in Manhattan to 59 St in Brooklyn during August of 2007, making all local stops (via BROADWAY LCL & WHITEHALL)

Thats b/c they were fixing the Southbound express track near DeKalb Avenue so that is why all Brooklyn/Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue bound N train were running local!

By the end of this year and next year I think the entire N line will the R-160's and so will the Q line!
