definately a misconception. people dont realise how difficult it actually is to have an obe. it takes practise, that is spiritual meditation, chakra medtiation is what im also looking for as i need to heal them, and also spiritual. id liketo be in touch with my higher self, and would like to have a nice explorative obe and also clean the chakras and feel better as a person and more stable
What are your thoughts on Trancendental Meditation? I'm working from the belief in the quantum "Unified Field" theory and like the idea of TM more than other meditations. Struggling to meditate as a first timer. thanks
@MarkBerryrealdj I've been doing TM for 39 years and used to teach it. TM is a very powerful and effective mantra meditation technique to experience savikalpa samadhi. People might complain about Maharishi, the TM movement, but almost everybody raves about TM. It doesn't matter what you believe. Unified field theory applied to meditation is just a metaphor to entertain your mind. It's the practice that counts.
You have some great videos. Do you have your own YouTube channel? It's hard to find just your videos among all the other stuff in this Ehow Channel. There's alot of garbage on this channel, but I like your videos I've seen so far. Please let me know if you do have your own channel.

You do not "leave your body" when you practice TM. Buddhist monks do not chant "OM." Don't talk about things you know nothing about. Good Lord!

you should smoke some cannabis sativa before you meditate. i recommend you smoke a strain called nevilles haze.

A wordy pot head...always nice to see. Tho I find the often increased heart rate of a cannabis high can make meditation near impossible.

then try cannabis indica, like shiva, or white rhino. it won't make your heart race, it will keep your whole body relaxed and couch locked.
