I don't give a s**t what you think...Ohhhhh, I started on the wrong bar...the world is going to implode....I taught myself how to play the bass and guitar...I checked your page seems you have no skills whatsoever except filming dogs, seemingly retarded ones at that...You must be one of those cool kids...I hear so much about...I mean with a pit bull and everything right...everyone has one of those...Go get laid you pathetic Troll...Or you could always show me how well you play on your bass?
Try playing in one position. This way you're not moving up and down the neck causing string noise. Play D (5th fret on your A string, then open A, then B (2nd fret on your A string), then G (3rd fret on your E string.
is this being played slightly off time with the song....im 99% sure your a beat out of time

Actually, Adam Clayton the bassist of U2 plays it on the A and E string, mostly open strings.

i think he plays it only on the e string, thats why he has this deep tone, but I'm not sure

My tabs have 2 on the A and 2 on the E. I'm still trying to perfect the Adam Clayton slide at the end of the 4 notes.

It can be played in many locations on the fret board. It is all about what your comfortable with.
