Do "we also believe . . . teach . . . and confess" that the papacy is the Antichrist, as expounded in the "Treatise on the Power and Primacy of the Pope," which is also in the Book of Concord? I can't think that that's doing to do much to improve Catholic-Lutheran relations.
That was really nice, but the balance between Law and Gospel is missing. Christ's act on the cross is meaningless if you don't know why he did it and that was to take our sins away upon himself, so that when we stand before God we are viewed unblemished. If we don't know why we are imperfect and unrighteous before God, then why would Christ's act have any bearing on us... That is why Lutherans confess that we are poor, miserable sinners.
Can you please point me to some quality Lutheran stuff online, on YouTube, or streaming video of any kind? You seem to have a good understanding of Lutheran theology and you watch YouTube. Where can I find a combination of both?
If you want lectures, Pastor Lassman has a lots of lession about lutheran faith on you tube. If you want to see lutheran liturgy you can check my videos.
