  • im an instructor, i have seen worse presenters in my opinion......sloppy presenters big names presenters. off the sgtage are complete rude pigs... she is doing what she thinks is fine, dont like the gear though

  • I am a certified BodyPump Instructor & yes not everyone is perfect but at least she is out there doing it. You are always going to get criticised no matter what you do. Haters go find something good to do with your time...

  • All you dickheads dissing her, I bet you know nothing about Les Mills. Group fitness classes are all about the 'group', and she is a motivating instructor! Nice work:-)

  • Good thing that there are so many critics. WHO really gives a shit what anyone thinks? At least she is trying.. There are a lot of fat instructors who teach..The assessor for Les Mills will let her know what she is doing right and wrong.. I have trained and certified BP and Reebok! I don't know any rich instuctors. Its not a very rewarding job.. She does seem to enjoy it! I watch so called body builders men and women train and they all have different ways to work out; correct or not?

  • She is not keeping the bar close to the body during the clean and press.. she is swinging it up... real chance for injury there. I agree.. the form on the dead lift is wrong.

  • I agree she's bouncing too much! None of my instructors do that (and they carry more weights than she does ) the dude next to her should move over and take the class.

  • well...I've been teaching for almost a decade. Her pelvic position is wrong, too much momentum, she hasn't coached proper use of core-back muscles and definately a no-no on the over use of bouncing the bar. She should be lifting 2-3 times more for this powerful track...such a shame.

  • Perhaps i am just distracted by her tights, but i agree that her form does not look right. I've been taking BP for almost 3 years & have never seen an instructor "snap" their knees during the dead rows/dead lifts the way she does. PS - I love the guy in the black shorts & blue tank top...either he has too much weight on the bar or his heart just isn't in it, ha ha.

  • I've been taking body pump now for 2 years and i know she's instructing them wrong..looks like back pain and tooo fast!

  • This is a Bodypump deadlift, not a strict straight leg deadlift! This is designed to enable multiple reps with safety emphasis keeping the back straight, shoulder blades up and back and hips back with a knee bend. Try doing this many reps strict weight lifting style and you would inevetably round the back! Putting undue stress on the lower and upper back.

    deadlifts have a slight bend of the knee - it's not a squat!

    but you motivate really well!!!

  • Stop bending your knees you look like you are squatting!!!! Bend from the hip!

  • Bend "straight" from the hip and herniate a disk.

  • What I was saying was that she is bending her knees way too much. Watch the guy next to her, he has it right. Also she is snapping her knees back in the upright position, and jerking the bar up fast rather than slowly lifting. I thought I would just start with one small comment so she could check out her dvd and learn from her mistake.
