I have lots of sympathy for anyone suffering with ME. I do and know it is very hard. However Barabara Kell isn't the right person to be getting attention for this cause. She has been very nasty to people on facebook and just makes the illness look like it is all in the mind. She says a lot about other people who haveME are attention seekers too.
24 years of being a patient surrounded by ignorance, neglect and damn-right abuse, I have tears rolling down my face at 2 and a half minutes worth of respect, correct information and the hope that this will educate some of the people that surround us. Thank you.
Excellent Barbara, thank you so much for representing us. The nature of the beast as it were to be seen and exposed for what it is, this illness really is as cruel and debilitating as AIDS or Cancer. I hope more MPS follow Ian Swales and that Prof Newton gets her funds.

I have a friend with ME and know how debilitating it can be.
I have met with people with ME who can be very angry too. This is understandable, what came first I don't know , the anger or ME.
It might be that family and friends stay away because of other reasons. Some people with ME, like people without ME, can put their bitter thoughts onto other people without realising.
Anger can't help a person get better, too much bitter acid in the system!
