The thing about Girls is, they're not just a really good band. They're a full and complete band. Their music, album art, music videos, everything, it all just fits perfectly. Everything they do is true and relevant to their music. They have a distinct feeling and it flows through everything they do. And thats why I love them.
i'd go further in the interpretation and say the blossoming flowers represent the blossom of herself. she's going somewhere/ or the travel itself makes she grow and feel released.
or if maybe it's about "Summertime" ending, and not wanting to let it go... i dunno, i'm trying to find someway to give you the benefit of the doubt... =]
although most of the lyrics are in more present-form references of "Summertime", with the exception of "get high like i used to do", so with my interpretation from sound to sight, i woulda made more of a just having fun in the summer kinda thing
and with Girls writing style, they're more simplists/minimalists, and generally are straight forward with what they're trying to say, i think being so abstract with a song like this was a bit much
The beginning of this song sounds like Dead Sound from The Raveonettes :)

the song is great, but it doesn't go with the video...
... in the sense of a girl walking around bundled up to the neck, or shots of near-frozen mountain-scapes
and then the flowers blooming... isn't that a Spring thing???
just my observation and thoughts, but unless your whole video was about contrast, then you were OFF... sorry =\
