Your main argument is that Obama does not go quite as far as the ultimate implementation of communism (real system and not the Utopian ideal). He goes as far as he is able to - at the moment. Your main argument is that Obama does not go quite as far as the ultimate implementation of communism (real system and not the Utopian ideal). He goes as far as he is able to - at the moment. At the core of obama is his belief that the government has the right to decide what is "enough" and who "needs" what. And that is unacceptable.

@SFRobertsDickClarke i have read the manifesto three times for psychology courses. while strong references to workers are mentioned communist policy seeks the abolition of all classes not a usurpation of power by one. number 2: universal membership of the party is actually a stalinist ideal which has more to do with fascism than with communism. marx wrote that it would be despicable for any party calling itself communist to advocate uniformity in party membership.

listen to this man, america should have a bigger spectrum in political diverisity and should not satanize the communist manifesto. Now at days there is not any correct "ism" for political posture to follow. Politics should be actualized for what every country is living. Power hegemony must be disolved. Neither to follow Usa for its capitalism or Rusia for its comunist ideas the world is bigger and there are many other political systems which russia & usa should start to follow like the european.

@Clarkecars Bail outs =/= collective state ownership. In a communist system, private industry would be eliminated. See the communist manifesto. Also, state ownership is worker ownership, again unlike the current system seeing as the workers of the car industry =/= the government. Read the communist manifesto again. The fact that there are government departments is not comunisim. Read Marx.
