  • HSUS runs commercials of abused dogs and cats to raise money. What's that money used for??? Hardly any of that money goes to the actually helping the welfare of animals. That money goes to fighting HSUS own political agenda to ending hunting and fighting farmers, and promoting being a vegetarian. HSUS is a scam and a crock, don't be fooled

  • dude.... this video is so dumb, i didn't even finish watching it. one of the most selfish, greediest human must have made this clip. it's honestly kinda depressing. and everyone who agrees with this video is idiotic.

  • Give directly to your local shelters NOT HSUS

HSUS does not run a single animal shelter, of the 131 million raised in 2010 only 527,566, or 0.4 percent went to any shelter nationwide while $32 million went into hedge funds.

As local shelters struggle to keep their doors open, HSUS is raising millions of dollars a month from unwitting donors to bankroll an animal rights agenda and fund a huge staff of lawyers and lobbyists, a bloated executive pension plan, and exorbitant fundraising expenses

  • This video with its lovely music and beautiful photos is pure propaganda, Missouri has the largest number of puppy mills in the country. The public is becoming more educated about the cruelty of puppy mills who rake in millions of dollars and are seeing a serious threat to that income due to new public awareness, like the closing of Petland stores all over the country. This has the puppy mills ready to fight back with all they've got! The HSUS is a a blessing to the animal kingdom.

  • @lsuth9174 Tell that to the 200+ dogs HSUS killed in Wilke's County. They even forced foster homes to give back the newly born pups they were fostering so they could kill them, stating they were "too dangerous" to live. Not a single dog was given a temperament test. They also wanted to kill Mike Vick's dogs, even while soliciting donations for their care on their own website.

  • The defammatory videos MissouriFAC is putting on YouTube about HSUS are slander & libel! Whenever we have money to donate, we give to HSUS, WSPA & others who are making a POSITIVE difference in the world helping animals, & people, both the ones who are screwed up in the head & abusive, and placing these animals with people who can ACTUALLY care for & love them. Based on reactions to your postings, I'm in agreement with the vast majority can't wait till your LIE pumping machine is shut down.

  • HSUS PENSION CONTRIBUTIONS TOTAL 99-09 TOTAL $16,315,520.00 DONATION TO HELP SHETERS--> $14,822,706.66 HSUS gave MORE $ to their CEO PENSION FUND 10 YRS RUNNING than they gave to help needy shelters out of their avg 100 MILLION $ a yr intake.. Think about it like this In 10 years HSUS took in excess ONE BILLION DOLLARS and gave Approx 14.8 MILLION to help other shelters around 1.4? PERCENT?

  • Who ever rote that twice is a dumbass if you knew what you were talking about wed all b listening and u wouldn't have to write it twice

  • OBVIOUSLY. A PUPPY MILL OWNER HAD WRITTEN THIS.

  • WOW. hsus is DEFINITELY NOT trying to do this. They are trying to stop animal abuse and irresponsible breeding! The arent trying to exinct domesticated animals! they love animals... why would they do that? they want you to SPAY AND NEUTER your animals so there wont have to be sooooo many animals that are stray or homeless. if ALL of thhe animals had a home, we would all have to have 12 cats and 8 dogs (EVERY PERSON.) so why do you think they will extinct our house pets? thumbs up if u agree

  • WOW. hsus is DEFINITELY NOT trying to do this. They are trying to stop animal abuse and irresponsible breeding! • Your "freedom" to own pets is too high a cost. It comes at the expense of another sentient being's right to live a life without interference. You are slave owners and support abuse and cruelty if you breed or own pets. There is no excuse. Humans suck. Slave owners...nothing more.

  • This is posted by owners of a Missouri Puppy Mill, whose living depends on the abuse and torture of dogs for their own profit. NEVER BUY A PUPPY FROM A PET STORE OR OVER THE INTERNET OR FROM A SIGN IN SOMEONE"S YARD> IF YOU DO YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE SUFFERING OF THE PUPPY MILL DOGS

  • @dilbertron2 I APPLAUD YOU!!!!!!!

  • This is all within the grand scheme of Agenda 21 total control over what we eat and what we can own and/or raise our own food, the FDA and Mansanto are also hand in hand with these organizations, because they truly want to control the food industry, our pets are just the beginning in their great scheme of thing to come, take heat and fight for your right to own and breed pets.

  • HSUS is just another organization pretending to be something that we all want which actually exists for the purpose of furthering UN Agenda 21. If you don't know about that, look it up, it's all publicly available online, but be prepared to have your world rocked. It is a dastardly business to get the support of people by pretending to be for what we ALL want. You'd be surprised at how many of the "green" groups exist to take away your freedom instead of protecting you.

  • Fuck this box of lies

  • They have done nothing to help these animals they have just taken things out of context and made some of the most honest and caring people in the world look bad

  • @2rb9hp4x Which part makes them "the most honest and caring people in the world"? The cruelty to animals? The abuse? The killing of innocents? If these are the honest and caring people...I would hate to see the bad ones! Really? You have been misinformed and are either ignorant...or are justifying your own cruel ways. Pathetic...

  • More and more videos are needed like this to show the threat that HSUS plays to American Agriculture. So many people just mistake the name for their local shelters when they truly use donations to fund their own agenda. Keep up the great work and lets all take a stand for Agriculture!

  • Individuals fail to realize that for several individuals, responsibly raising purbred dogs is the livelyhood for many and they love what they do. For some disabled individuals who cannot handle a 9 to 5 job--this is their life and their only source of income. It is actually more labor intensive than a 9-5 job--and many never take vacations for themselves--they are with their animals 24-7 day in and day out. It is a passion for them. Radicals fail to see this.

  • Under Prop B, responsible breeders will no longer be allowed to buy & administer their own shots/meds. Necessary shots are already costly--but the law would require breeders to load up all their puppies and travel to the vet for EVERY necessary shot/med--exposing young unprotected puppies to needless travel and diseases at the vet clinics. Many vets charge an office call per visit--more needless expenses for reputable breeders already struggling to provide quality puppies at an affordable price

  • @KnowledgeisPower2011 There is no such thing as a "responsible breeder". Anyone who enslaves animals, breeds them, and profits from their babies should be put in prison and bred themselves. Don't worry....we'll make sure your babies go to a "good home"! LOL. Leave the animals alone you inbred. What a poor excuse for humanity. SHUT DOWN BREEDERS AND PUPPY MILLS!

  • These quotes are taken out of context. Do some fact checking.

  • HSUS is the biggest scam going. So sorry for the people who are trapped in their lies about helping animals.Take the time to go to HumaneWatch and see all the real workings about HSUS and what they do with the money you send. HSUS and their net bloggers (the ones that defend H$U$) don't want you to believe the real news. I have been following HSUS dirty deeds and lies for 10 years. People, we need to stop them NOW before it is too late. Your animals and America's safe food supply depends on you.

  • I think the only thing the HSUS is good at is convincing people that they're taking pets for their own good when in reality they're taking them to stock their own over-priced pet shops. Have you been into a humane society adoption center lately? It's ridiculous, they've become elaborate pet stores. I am against the HSUS regulating the ownership of animals, that should be left up to police agencies and if need be, then call in the HSUS to rescue but only if they're REALLY needed!

  • Thank you all for regurgitating nothing but a bunch of emotional rhetoric, smears against HSUS, and claims that run from ridiculous exaggerations to outright lies.

The act is just over 1,000 words long, folks. I implore you to take 2-3 minutes out of your life and actually read the act rather than rely on Joe the Plumber to interpret it for you.

  • Does anyone else see how ridiculous it would be to put HSUS in charge of animal agriculture in Missouri? That makes as much sense as giving your passwords to an overseas agent to collect your inheritance from that unknown relative. Missouri SHOW ME your NO votes!

  • The HSUS & PETA are shoving Spay/Neutering laws down the throats of people. They want ALL dogs n cats spayed/neutered by 4 months. They are delusional in thinking that it will solve the problems of unwanted animals in shelters. If you are a breeder they will charge up to $500/breeding dog or bitch and when people can't do that they'll be fined and the dogs confiscated. Within ONE GENERATION all animals will be gone if these fools get their way. READ the bills and SEE what you read.

  • Missouri does not like HSUS's, state by state, one species at a time, vegan plan to end animal agriculture.

"Abused pet" commercials for months, pulling on our “love for animals” heart strings, asking over, and over for your hard earned money. "Do you like puppies?"...sign here. Strangers at our post office chasing people around with a clipboard; paid by HSUS?

    I think so.

  • Amen ! You are the first person I have heard that is intelligent enough to grasp the situation ! Everyone else is caught up in the hype the HSUS is putting out there. Everyone needs to read this bill closely before voting !

  • If HSUS can't find unlicensed 'puppy mills' now then how exactly will this bill help? They are already illegal along with animal cruelty and neglect. As much money as those folks have spent on lobbying-illegally by the way and that will catch up with them- then why didn't they lobby USDA for tighter regulations instead of trying to pass a useless bill that will cost the state thousands of dollars and still will not help? CONTROL and GREED is why!

  • I dare the HSUS to come and attempt to take my dog away. I have a .40 that says you won't not to mention my dog would tear you up!

  • @RGMerkel How long before HSUS charges private citizens with a misdemeanor for having a piece of dry food in their dog's water bowl? Or taking them for a walk when the temperature is over 85? Scary to think people don't believe that would happen isn't it?

  • @becauseitsamerica

HSUS is not a legal authority. They want to be.

DO NOT give it to them!

    Get HSUS OUT of Missouri!

  • @JJJJview07 I know what you mean man. they wanted to start stuff here in ohio, but we took care of that and made our own standards so we dont need theres.

  • @JJJJview07 how about just get HSUS OUT!!!

  • Proposition B is a redundant waste of taxpayer money at a time in history when we cannot afford to squander our resources! It will only apply to dogs that no one knows exists and licensed kennels provide more than prop B requires. Who will prop B help? Wayne Pacelle and his pack of henchmen that have been funded by liberals on the east and west coast-they have come to Missouri to save what exactly?

  • @becauseitsamerica

Prop B is such a huge scam that has managed to fool way to many people.

  • @RGMerkel When the investigation into their illegal lobbying and the IRS investigation hits the airwaves it might open a few people's eyes.

  • Someone give this group a pile of cash so this can run night and day on television sets across America. Great work!

  • this video should be on the national news

  • this tells it like it is, keep it going...

  • I don't know why everyone seems to think that HSUS is helping the animals. They're a large lobbying group, they don't own one animal shelter, and anyone who has donated to them has no doubt seen what they've donated come back in the form of address labels, cards, calenders and other junk. For all their talk they rarely do more than gather money, get a spot on T.V, and then hightail it. Katrina and Vic's dogs are two good examples of that.

  • @cgrsworld I too tried to argue with this idiot. All he/she wants to do is spend time making false statements that he can't back up. And then asks us to prove what we're saying??? We're not the ones claiming that the HSUS is some crazy organization trying to make it so we can't have pets. I can't stand idiots like this that can't back up what they say!!!

  • @jlbrazil NO, you didn't try to argue with me at all! Unless you call hurling insults argueing. I have at least backed up my claims with REAL QUOTES from Wayne Pacelle, head of HSUS. You both on the other hand have backed up your claims with NOTHING!!! NuF Sed!!!!!

  • If their efforts are successful, we will no longer have pets and they will no longer have jobs. Very few zealots, if any, actually plan their own extinction.

  • Most of the people that believe this video are delusional. At the very least, the fact that people will believe a short video without researching it is pathetic. The HSUS works on larger issues, such as legislation to end puppy mills. Something that the fools that created this video do not want to see happen. The HSUS is not trying to stop us from having companion animals for crying out loud. Think people, think!

  • @jlbrazil So, you claim people that believe this video are delusional, and the ones who created the video are fools.

There goes your credibility. HSUS works on larger issues than you think, such as controlling the world's human population,re their involvment with Optimum Population Trust, and have an ultimate agenda to stop us from eating meat. There's no delusions here, just you trying to discredit good relevant information by ad hominem attacks.

  • @indianredhead There goes my credibility? Seriously, how about you actually do some research before making so many false statements. You must have a boring life to be able to spend so much time spreading mis-truths to the world about an organization that is attempting to end cruelty towards animals. The HSUS is NOT trying to stop people from having pets, they are spending time and money to help change legislation to stop many horrible things, among them puppy mills. Again, you're delusional.

  • @jlbrazil Just which of my statements are false, and what evidence will you present to prove my statements wrong. So far you've presented nothing but opinions.

  • @jlbrazil

HSUS has spent a lot of time and money trying to get large reptiles and snakes banned from being kept as pets, even though all of them combined maim/kill fewer people than german shepherds and horses per year. They prey on the ignorance of the public. They also fear monger about reptiles spreading salmonella to children, as if it is hard to teach your kid not to be a moron and wash their hands and not stick baby turtles in their mouths.

  • I think you're delusional. These snippet statements are all without context. I believe that kirsten99 hits the nail on the head. You're just trying to protect your puppy mills.

  • @cgrsworld Prove it.

  • @indianredhead Prove what? That you're delusional??

As for the HSUS' (or ANYONE for that matter) support of population control -- I'M ALL FOR THAT! I'll send them every dollar I have to help fight that problem. And I certainly hope you're right on that issue. As for the rest of your story: its just that - quite a 'story.' I believe you should be writing fiction, since you have a very vivid imagination.

  • @cgrsworld No, prove that the so called "snippet statements" are all without context. But of course you can't do that, so you resort to comedy.

As for population control, since you are so passionate about it, why don't you start reducing the population by making sure you don't breed, or better yet go ahead and reduce the population starting with YOU!

  • I think it's scarey to think that HSUS wants to take our pets away. Don't people use their brains any more? Research HSUS,PETA, etc. before sending them money. They want to take our basis constitutional rights away - don't believe me - read what the CEO's themselves say. WAKE UP AMERICA! I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, I like steak and hamburgers, if I wanted to be a vegan, I would.

  • @jonflog57 They will force you to be a vegan if they have their way.

  • @indianredhead What world do you live in??

  • @cgrsworld This is a quote directly from Wayne Pacelle's blogsite: The message of this fine work also resonates with the policy of The HSUS on these questions. We believe in the Three Rs—reducing the consumption of meat and other animal-based foods; refining the diet by eating products only from methods of production, transport, and slaughter that minimize pain and distress; and replacing meat and other animal-based foods in the diet with plant-based foods.

  • @indianredhead where are you reading that they want to take away companion animals?? I'm totally missing that. - -- which is the premise of this video, correct??

  • @cgrsworld "We have no problems with the extinction of domestic animals. They are creations of human selective breeding."Wayne Pacelle head of the HSUS -- Animal People News,

  • This is a propaganda piece by dog breeders in Missouri who do not like legislation proposed by the Humane Society that would require more humane conditions for dogs bred by breeders. (ie. adequate space to turn around and stretch their limbs, adequate housing, protection from the elements, regular exercise, and necessary veterinary). Nothing in it addresses their actual grievances with the Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act that is up for a vote. Shameful distortion.

  • @kirsten99 You are right on Kirsten.

  • Well I think these animal wackos may not get the chance to fully implement their evil plan.

I think the Islamic radicals may take over before that, and kill them all, as "infidels".

  • test

  • "My goal is the abolition of all animal agriculture"

    HSUS grassroots coordinator

    John J.P. Goodwin

That pretty much says it all folks. Other than that they wish to control the HUMAN population one way or another too.

Check and see how buddy buddy HSUS is with the Optimum Population Trust. This organization has even researched methods of controlling the human population by mass, forced sterilization.

    Sleep well.............

  • As a reputable breeder that wants to see my breed continue to exist, I just wanted to say THANKS! Someone needs to start providing the public with real information on the AR agenda. The h$U$ simply redirects money towards it's own plan while thousands of shelters doing ACTUAL work struggle to stay afloat.

Donate your time and money to local shelters where you can do real good!

  • It is ironic how the AR's can't stand the truth. If the would look at the facts they would see they are being used to fill the pockets of the HSUS. Truthful video. Well said!!

  • This video is such a JOKE. Poor little puppy millers, afraid someone might start making them treat their animals well. The HSUS has NEVER stated that humans do not have the right to own pets, and the quote from Pacelle is from nearly two decades ago and was taken out of context--he wasn't talking about cats and dogs. QUALITY BREEDERS WOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF LEGISLATION THAT ONLY SEEKS TO ENSURE FOOD, WATER, APPROPRIATE SHELTER, AND PROPER VETERINARY CARE FOR DOGS!!! How are those things radical?

  • @veggiegrrrl1

You can usually measure how badly a person is lying or flying completely on emotion when you see a ton of all caps ranting. Pacelle is a contemptible piece of garbage and nothing was taken out of context. That freak should be in a padded room along with anyone else fooled by his nonsense. And as a person who works for a No-Kill shelter, I will tell you now that these laws are absolutely horrible and causing the deaths of thousands of dogs and cats.

  • @hellsunicorn Care to elaborate how laws that state that breeders need to maintain basic food, water, shelter and veterinary care are leading to the deaths of animals? The statement on selective breeding was about man-made livestock breeds, so yes, using it to argue the topic of puppy mills is absolutely taking it out of context. I suppose you drink the Winograd kool aid about how overpopulation is only a myth? My shelter would love to be no kill, but idiots keep letting their animals reproduce.

  • @veggiegrrrl1

In Pennsylvania hundreds of breeding operations, many bad, some good, have been shut down because of the HSUS' ridiculous law proposals and local shelters are in the same situation as yours BECAUSE of the huge dispersment that happened. I suggest you go to the HSUS and tell them to put more of those millions that they are using for actual shelters rather than media whoring and lobbying congress, that is how you make a difference.

  • @hellsunicorn

Furthermore, overpopulation IS an absolute myth. If every PETA, HSUS and ALF activist did what you do (which they don't), this problem would be greatly reduced. Spend a little less time persecuting breeders and more time working to actually improve the life of animals, and if you think you can't cut it as a No-Kill shelter, either work harder or get out of the business. There are real people who will handle this problem humanely when the talkers get out of the way.

  • @hellsunicorn

Every state has had EXISTING laws on the books, particularly Pennsylvania, BEFORE your crowd stepped in. And even if Pachelle and other freaks like him get their wish and destroy the livelyhood of dog breeding, the inhumane treatment of animals will continue as long as cruel people live. You can not rid the world of cruelty with corrupt politics, you must correct the problem through your own efforts.

  • @hellsunicorn

These efforts include donating time, work and money to REAL animal welfare workers, not people doing the bidding of corporations and MSM tycoons who either want money to keep their failing News businesses alive or displace farmers so that they can build shopping malls or factory farms on them. Those are the people who bankroll groups like PETA and HSUS, and their intentions have little to do with animal welfare.

  • This video is RIDICULOUS. I support the Human Society 100%.

  • @tifotter

You are not supporting the Humane Society, you are supporting the HSUS (Humane Society of the United States), which is a multi-billion dollar non-profit corporation with a really questionable political agenda. Get something in your head rather than on it.

  • @hellsunicorn I support the HSUS 100%. You and the Center for Consumer BS and Martosko and Berman can suck it all the way to the bank. I don't know how they sleep at night taking dirty money from big corporate. Are you on the payroll, sketchy?

I sleep like a baby at night. And so does every other animal welfare activist and animal rights activist I know.

    Sweet dreams, suckers.

  • @tifotter

Idiots tend to sleep well because they never really grasp the consequences of their actions, even when they see it happening right in front of them. A man who questions himself and loses a few hours of sleep at night wondering whether he does the right thing and how everyone will be impacted by it will triumph over idealistic fascists, no matter how long it takes or how many battles are won or lost.

  • @hellsunicorn The consequences of our actions? You mean all those actions like... reducing suffering of abused and tortured animals? Ensuring animals are treated humanely by enacting tougher laws to punish abusers? THOSE CONSEQUENCES?

  • @tifotter

This is precisely what I am talking about. You see what you want to see, you don't see the honest business persons who treat animals well whose livelyhoods are either compromised or destroyed by all of the additional costs incurred by your kooky, religious idealism. You don't see how many animals have been euthanized BECAUSE of these laws due to massive displacement of dogs and cats.

  • @hellsunicorn (cont.)

I work for a no-kill shelter and regularly donate to 2 others and they are filled to capacity with animals that need to be placed because of HSUS tyranny driving people out of business who can't conform to the RIDICULOUS standards that these laws call for. I could get into the details of why this is happening in Pennsylvania, but I'd probably be wasting my time with a moron like you.

  • @hellsunicorn

I also am in regular contact with other kennels: breeding, boarding and rescues, who are being subjected to standards in other states that are driving them to close down, standards that even the ASPCA probably can't meet if they were subjected to similar inspections. What this will lead to is mass euthanization of domesticated animals, which is precisely what Pacelle and other death-cultists like him want.

  • @hellsunicorn Money-grubbing puppy mills are the reason for the massive displacement of dogs. More and more shelters is not the answer to a disposable society of morons who throw away animals like garbage.

  • @tifotter

And you think that passing a bunch of new laws will do anything other than make their dogs and cats more valuable? These mills are ALREADY breaking the law, you are not hurting them, you are hurting everyone else trying to make things better for these animals. They are here, and we should take care of them, not kill them.

  • Perfect truthful video!! Viewer Shelleyel is not a licensed breeder or she would know Missouri and USDA has strong regulations already in place. Read the regulations before you speak of something you do not know.

  • This is propaganda aimed at the uneducated. Educate yourself before taking this at face value.

  • This is a misleading and ridiculous video. LEGITIMATE breeders have no problem with the puppymill legislation. And I should know since I am one. Do not give this video a second thought. The legislation HSUS promotes is WONDERFUL for domestic pets!!!! And for livestock for that matter.

  • @shelleyel

As a dog breeder, even though you may be a reputable one, you are also under attack, for HSUS (as well as PETA) is out to shut down all animal based businesses. If you are unsure about that, wait until they have your city/State pass the law that makes it illegal to own any breed of dog that is over 80 pounds or falls under the 'dangerous breed' definition.

  • outlawing animals? That would be surprising news to 4 million unwanted dogs killed every year in this country.

  • @TaylorNewSong

How many dogs have you rescued?

  • @ChuckFin Refer to the statement made by Wayne Pacelle at 1:22 about ending ALL domesication of animals......It clearly states the mission of HSUS.

Pacelle could not have said it any more clearly.

You can rag about Consumer Freedom all you want, but Wayne Pacelle said it

and hasn't denied it. HSUS has spent millions of dollars pursuing ending domestication of all animals.

Wherever HSUS goes, people lose jobs and the price of food goes up.

    Deeds, not words.

  • @ChuckFin The video is an attack on unfair legislation that targets ALL breeders, not just the bad ones. It is also an attack on an organization that is run by pulling the wool over the eyes of America - HSUS is NOT a government agency and it DOES NOT run a rescue/shelter program, nor does a majority of it's funds go towards animals, as they would leave you to believe.
