For some disabled individuals who cannot handle a 9 to 5 job--this is their life and their only source of income. I don't know why everyone seems to think that HSUS is helping the animals. They're a large lobbying group, they don't own one animal shelter, and anyone who has donated to them has no doubt seen what they've donated come back in the form of address labels, cards, calenders and other junk. It is also an attack on an organization that is run by pulling the wool over the eyes of America - HSUS is NOT a government agency and it DOES NOT run a rescue/shelter program, nor does a majority of it's funds go towards animals, as they would leave you to believe.
