takayoshi needs to really focus on sounding clear through his solos insted of just a blur i knows hes good but he can a as many notes a secound he wonts but it will not show how good he really is course alot of guitaists do it.

actually i sorta agree, i like his improvised solos better because of the bluesy-fusion style they carry. also, i think he could have used a bit of vibrato in the solo because he has a really good vibrato which is something i find missing in alot of shredders (with exceptions). none the less he is my fav of all the japanese shredders.

@cloud041089 It's a Cicada, which, in Japan, is a symbol of rebirth. This sound is fairly ubiquitous in many major Japanese animes and movies. You can hear it in places other than Japan though. In fact, here in boring old Illinois you can hear them during the peak of summer if you go the right places.

No i've read it to in an interview with syu back in 2006 from jmusic america but i think he only played a couple of shows with them and i think it was WAYYYYYY in the start of cross hard's career so nothing really that concrete to say he was an official member but he did play with them. Actually though syu is a very good drummer may not be the most technical but he's pretty good
