  • I am sure that Jacques Fresco with actual knowledge and technologies could adapt our cities to the venus project. Yes they are obsolete, but it is stupid to destroy them and build upon, instead of using these structures and materials, keep what we can and adapt the rest!

  • you are accusing, that while examining material Zeitgeist you were manipulated, however it is your tone of the voice is aggressive

  • This is a world I would like to live in. :)

  • De 100 científicos 95 están de acuerdo que el 77% de las matas y la jardinería decorativa tiene que ser mariguana de esa manera le dan mantenimiento voluntariamente , Dime algo de eso

  • Don't think I would mind living in a city like this, it looks nice. But I don't think you can just level most cities, for example: European cities. They contain a lot of history, mostly beautiful old buildings.. and I wouldn't like that to go to waste :(

Nevertheless, I'm fully pro RBE, because the state of the earth and the well-being of ALL people (or life in general) is most important!

  • i think the venus project city designs initially seem like so futuristic and imporbable, but if you think about some of the universities in the U.S. that are very well designed, and you picture life inside those universities, these kinds of cities don't really seem so far off, like if you implanted today's people in one of the cities and what they do on a day-to-day basis, i can actually picture it pretty well, anyways TVPDesign needs to create animations with people

  • How many people they have to kill to make this dream come true ? At least 5 billion ! And how many cities they will level ? Most of them. Do not worry aboout it, There is something wonderful to look forward, but you will not see it.

  • @VitaVeda What do you base this stupid statement?

  • 10 people mis-clicked.

  • I am sorry but I really do not like this type of buildings.

I prefer Gaudi or Japanese etc., kind of learn from nature concept buildings.

People fell in love natural based buildings because we can see beautiful curves which we also have in human body.

We are not robots or puppets...

  • Very great love the idea of the the future project

  • HI from AZ. Remember GENESIS 6? Remember the 1859 solar CME ? Remember all the 40 year old nuke plants in 2012 on the fault lines and the meltdowns when the grid failed? (Hint for the devil) MALACHI 4 .. . IS the 3rd dirt ball from SOL becoming like the 2nd dirt ball just for satan and the rest of its JUDE 6 sick crew..

  • The book is now available at thewayhomeorfacethefiredotnet

  • I'll start my own city where people can build their homes however they want, and trade with money if they want to. All associations will also be voluntary and mutual and conceal. They can even have their own business without any regulations. My city will also have a LOT OF GUNS to protect themselves against socialist who would want to steal their property.

  • i wonna live here :D

  • if we level everywhere and it takes 10 years to build all the new citys, where will everyone live for 10 years?

  • @glennstevenjones we will of course do it gradually. The leveling wouldn't happen all at once, that would be impossible even. And consider that his estimate is for these to be implemented in a global scale. It is possible if there is a real movement towards a change in the system.

  • I agree that all cities should be leveled with the ground.

  • what is the song of this video? thanks!

  • OMG this would looks so cool in a videogame; a game which would also educate on how the system works :)

  • You are so detached from the nature, from all this futurustic things.

  • It looks like a bad train set on steroids....Those circles do they come any rounder?

  • Comment removed

  • They already have this in North Korea. All we need to do is follow their example and we can live in the same Utopia that they enjoy.

  • @graciehunterII NORTH KOREA??? Dont they not even have feed themselves? Please tell me wtf your talking about.

  • No future for this project. There is no media coverage, no awareness.. They are not interested in a perfect world...

  • @alboss13 it is not about being perfect, but about being functional for all people. and that's why it lacks media coverage.

  • @omnisphera A solution that is functional for all people is not supposed to be covered by the media? I don't get it. Whatever it promotes it should be covered and it should also be analyzed as an option.

  • @alboss13 when solutions to social problems work well in theory they are either dusted in a drawer or killed, and media silence on such projects is one way to keep them down. that's how the few richest people act towards these things.

  • JUST SOOO COOL !

  • This is what the crysis engine was built for, awesome model simulations!

  • @zubatzu why

  • GUYS GUYS what software is used for 3D modeling it looks exelent

  • @corrosionblast CryEngine 3: Sandbox is the current version they're using. Not too sure if this C.G.I. was done with vCE3.

  • So you will ruin all the beautiful architecture? Sorry guys but this will make everything just boring and same and in fact it is 100% like the communists ideas and they failed.

And who will say which cities will be preserved and which destroyed? And if some people doesn't want to move from the cities that you want to destroy?

  • @sergiomarchelli Communism is based on a monetary system. TVP is not a monetary system, that makes all the difference.

  • @DeeKay9121 no, in fact communism is not based on money itself, it has the same utopia ideas and they build with the most modern materials cities, there were homes for everyone...of course now all these buildings looks strange and obsolete, in same way Venus utopia project buildings will look like in future.

It just smells of communism, Marxism, well with some different intonation, but still the same.

  • @sergiomarchelli Communism or not, a world without money is much more better than the world we are living in. They tried it before, but they did not have the technology needed. I just want us to live in a world of peace and freedom. Money can not solve the problem 'cause it is the problem. Peace my friend !

  • @DeeKay9121 sorry but the money are not the problem. The problem is the greed. By removing the money and putting something other instead or even changing the way all works, again the greed and all these evil things that are the real problem are inside the human beings. And believe me, they tried all this, with the most advanced technology at this time (in same way the Venus project technology will look obsolete in same way the 60s communist utopia designs, architecture etc.) Cheers.

  • nice idea but its a load of bollocks

  • @zubatzu what about detroit?

  • @Alexanderisgreat what about it

  • you could make a video game out of this ... and it would be a great way of spreading the message to children and teenagers

  • I want to make that city into a video game!

  • @xboy105 THIS is the city Aqua, Terra, Master Xehanort, Eraquis grew up in. This is where I want my kids to live.

  • Sooo, has he done away with man's capacity for evil as well..? What of the murderer, rapist, molestor, greed monger, power hungry, the apathetic litter-bug, or the would-be dictator..? Do they exist? I hope not since Jaques advocates in this 'new existence' no need for police, military, etc. Does common sence understanding of the nature of fallen man come into play here?

  • @pobedapatsfan I'm not sure where he put the explanation on the website but he basically talks about a few tribes that have never had any of that stuff. It is kind of fishy though. If you visit a psych ward you would find people that would kill if they could and it makes me wonder where would all of the sociopaths go in this society.

  • @jmw1500 You would find those people, but there is always a reason and there is no single person in this world that you cant turn around.

  • @jmw1500 where does a sociopath go today ? to the hospital obviously

  • @pakau Yes good point. =) If the hospitals are improved in this new city then that is a very reasonable answer.

  • @pobedapatsfan Everyone is just reflecting their culture and the way they grew up. They dont choose to be criminals, they are what others made them to be. For example, most of the people living in America are very egoistic, since we need it in this society. If you go to Africa then, you will find tribes where every member would die for any other member. Also, this is the same argument that people used against anarchists for years, its proven to be wrong.

  • @zubatzu May be we all shout level up our minds first. Leveling up is just one word said in the video. And he says many more thing like no street people, no hungry people, ect. Dint you listen to them?

  • @utubekula Stop being a dick yes I did listen, At the end of the day If this is a serious project you HAVE to poke holes in it so that it can be made better. At the end of the day levelling cities is not viable

  • WAW

  • @zubatzu The people of the future will decide if DC is relevant to them or not. I'm sure our ancestors would lose it, if they were to see what we've done to their sacred lands.

  • nice quote by Bucky Fuller

  • It is a boon, a man sparking our imaginations and of the future generations and all we can do is criticize it despite not seeing even a glimpse of what he's created... I think people need to realize this is just the city and not the houses that people would want to live in also.

    Love this video and teaser.

We really love you and your creativity Jacque.

  • 101101101777

He has designed self cleaning buildings, there are numerous videos of him explaining this concept so yes they will stay spotless, within certain limits, but we can always get things remade if it turns ugly thats the beauty of prefab construction. In any case you act like it's bad? I fail to see your reasoning, we're living in shit right now comparatively even by the best architecture available. The shallow attempt to compare this to North Korea is pathetic of you low life creature.

  • The city designs look like crop circles we get in fields. Makes you wonder if someone was trying to tell us something. It's such a shame that we could achieve so much, everyone live in an equal environment and create and develop the best technology your mind can conceive, if money was taken out the the equation. It makes you step back, look at the world and ask, 'what the hell are we doing?'

  • The possibility for the future is breathtaking and hope inspiring.

  • Heaven on earth.

  • Is there a way for me to get a hold of that 3dmodel they show throughout the clip?

  • It will still take polluted dirty cities to produce these materials. They still need to be mined out of the ground and manufactured and all the over hang implied. That means there will be shitty places still around despite these cities, and even these ones won't stay spotless and perfect like on the models

  • Go to the venus project web site and have a look at the current technologies which can adequately provide solutions to your points about pullution and surfaces staying spot free.

  • These kind of modern-esque structures always look good on the drawing board. Real life is something else. However you can find cities that look like these, they're in North Korea

  • @101101101777 ? I don't see any point or reasoning to your statement. Explain Please.

  • The only reason why no one has done it yet (TVP) is because of the monatery system, because of the profit and corruption. Those at the top of the pyramid dont want this project, they would lose power to control us...

  • @MrT0rture Well yes, that does play a role in one of the reasons why it has not been implemented, but the main block right now in awareness. Many countries and political powers have shown great interest in TVP. Even FOX News covered it, and they tend to push on their agendas quite often (actually it was turned a bit away from a RBE but what did you expect, it's FOX).

  • In a Larry king interview made in 1974, he said that it would take 10 years to change the surface of the Earth, and he said it too in 96 in another interview. So it take take 15 to 20 today ;)

  • How long would it take to implement this system and build these cities.

  • Where would the animals be or pets or rodents or etc....????????????

  • @dlucas050 Most rodents would probably move/live outside of the cities in the wild because the houses are prefabricated using concrete and are thin shelled. That means that termites and rodents won't be able to eat through or crawl between the walls (along with being fire and earthquake resistant and don't where down). As far has pets go, it will be completely up to the individual just has it is now.

  • Why they didn't do this a long time ago???

  • @dlucas050 The technological ability to produce enough food, clothing, and shelter was not open until about 1927 when we were finally able to mass produce products. Has technology improves the easier it is to redesign. The monetary system was o.k 40 years ago, but now it is obsolete due to the fact that we can support the entire human population and more, while also protecting and reviving our environment. The only issue now is doing it before we pass the point of no return.

  • Financially, what have you got to offer the greedy politicians who make it into power by corporate funding, and who make policies based on corporate bribery (as is seen with the US private prison institution)? I'd love to see this project come to fruition (although I highly doubt war will ever go away) and I think a lot of normal people would to, but the problem, and indeed the people you actually need to convince are the politicians.

  • @MrMyers758 the politicians are irrelevant, they have outlived their usefulness decades ago

  • @SoldierCyfix No, they are relevant. Unless you have some plan to take over the governments or corporations then their approval and funding is essential for this program to become worldwide. And if the objective is for it not to become worldwide then the whole project is flawed and useless on that basis alone.

  • What would happen to all the less fortunate people, people who can't contribute shit? Would you give them shelter and feed them without expecting anything in return? I would like to pose the question of population control. Would there be some sort of rules or guidelines to conception?

  • @charles7134 By "theory", when they switch from capital to a resource based economy they won't need to contribute any money since currency is based on the resources we have on earth. If you mean intelligence wise they should be able to get an education in one of these cities to try and better themselves. Remember this is just a theory.

  • @SackFulloApplez1993 you responded to one out of three questions. Respond to the others.

  • @charles7134 Right, Well of course the poor that don'y contribute shit are gonna get food everyone is gonna get food, and provided a house costume to every individuals need. Remember you don't have to live in one of these cities which is a common misconception about the Venus project. As far as population is concerned I'm not entirely sure, but I think that they believe that a well educated and supported population is prone to have less kids, unlike places like South America, and Africa.

  • How much a month? What is there missing here? A playground! The skatepark! A general congregation area packed with railings, ledges, steps, and benches!

  • I'd actually like to live in one of those cities!

  • Thanks for sharing. Great work

  • Comment removed

  • It's a resource based economy! Who controls the resource? The World computer! With what criteria? The carrying capacity of the earth! Who decides that? The World computer! Who controls the world computer? Look there, shiny buildings and gardens, it's gonna be great!

Just another ploy for control, just another prison society. Forget Zeitgeist, think Permaculture!

  • @Zepherian Who decides?? My guess is anyone that has no idea how to produce anything but ideas. You see all these majical robots will suddenly appear and do all the work for us. By us I mean those who do not know what work is. No, paper and idea pushing is not work.

  • Jacque never had a good idea about time...10 years is EXTREMLY optimistic...better take 30-50 ;) The machines have to be invented...then everything has to be planned which would be EXTREMLY hard (cause of all the things which have to work together) and so on...10 years is ways to short^^

  • @Garrettthief

Yeah I think what he meant was if the machines were invented ^^, the manufacturing speed it claims is pretty quick! And if all construction resources in the world were put to it then yeah it would be hella quicker than the construction rates we have today... but even then 10 years does sound pretty optimistic haha xD Lets just hope there is a time frame for change in the first place...

  • These are compelling designs. A lot of people absolutely don't WANT the venus project, and loathe the underlying ideas. Why doesn't TVP have the moral courage to take the competition to the current system and work to create communities that provide a rational alternative? If this all works so good, why don't just implement it straightaway? Stop talking about it and start doing it - without forcing anyone. This shit has to be so compelling anyone wants in on it.

  • @KhanneaSuntzu

That is precisely what the venus project is doing haha, problem is funding! Money still makes the world go round and so as long as they need millions of dollars for funding and more money for exchange of resources... this method will always be a losing battle :/ until TVP becomes known worldwide (via the movie) and the economy collapses, we won't get enough interest from both commoners and people with the big bucks

  • Cryengine 2?

  • Reminds anyone else of Brink?

  • hope this comes out on xbox 360

  • One does not need a PH.D to have a beautiful mind.. Life is about the people, not the money, not the credentials. It's about leaving a legacy, about giving our children a chance at a healthy future.. Regardless of the feasibility, or the sacrifices we will need to make, this has passion and it's worth trying. Don't let apathy rule your lives.

  • @TerribleFan i agree with you :)

  • Since this whole thing is based out of Florida, I think it deserves to fail just on principle.

  • Any updates on this?

When can we go in this online version?

  • Make this whit crye engine 2 or 3 :D It could be nice!!!

  • LOL what bologna .....anyone left that still supports zeitgeist?

eerily similar to what the CFR advocates. hmm why is that so?

  • @sgentlemanjack112 How can it sound like CFR when there would be no monetary system or government? RBE will release people from servitude.

  • The biggest thing holder such plans back is too many negative people,

It shouldnt be a case of, it will never work, it should be, lets find a way of making it work.

Someone had a dream once of flying to the moon, then the dream happened.

If just one small group of people get things started, maybe it will change peoples minds and start the domino affect.

  • @hotkeez Excellent put. I couldn't agree more.

  • Comment removed

  • @calin4thewin they aren´t paying bazillion dollars cause that system includes ALL having ALL and problably ALL will be "HAPPY". they would pay for a "more effective" working enviroment (that only satisfy their needs and interest and fuck off the rest of the world)

  • @erikimba You're talking about imaginary RBE. I am talking about a more realistic Google or Facebook or [other company] headquarters.

Fresco claims to be able to design better stuff, that is built using less resources. My question is - why was this not placed before companies and cities who right now need new stuff designed and built?

Sure it's easier to make videos and ask for donations, than to make a good working product and sell it fair and square ;)

  • Inside the New IMAGINARY Cities. Haven't built yet, and IMO they're quite a while away.

Not because "people aren't ready" as some say, but because TZM has their head up their asses, doing only talking and nothing else. Also for a group that claims to be more efficient, they clearly are far, far less efficient than any self-respecting company, in any field.

  • am putting on my channel--thanks for puuting this up

  • The world of tomorrow can be the world of today-Walt Disney

  • 2011 is the warmest year ever recorded. The UN has announced that if we don't start to gradually decrease the CO2 emissions by 2015, "irreparable damage will be done to our planet". Check it out on the UN website. The world needs the Venus Project.

  • @taKenzZzZz Bullshit. Look at the normal fluctuations of temperature throughout the planet's history. We've seen meteor impacts and ice ages and climate changes, the gas mix in the air changing and so on and so forth.

We got volcanoes that have (and will again) spew as much CO2 into the atmosphere as ALL HUMAN ACTIVITY COMBINED, since FOREVER (look it up).

UN just wants to enslave you with more scary tales. The planet is fine.

  • @calin4thewin why would the UN want to scare us? If you go to the Guardian you will see that Amy Goodman reports that the carbon-based industry is doing all it can to prevent a deal being reached in Durban.

Of course the Earth has been warmer than it is today. But if the environment radically shifts we are all in danger. There haven't been such high CO2 levels in our atmosphere for 650, 000 years, and our species only came into being within the last 200, 000.

  • @calin4thewin 2011 was the warmest year ever RECORDED, not the warmest year there ever was.

  • @calin4thewin : "the planet is fine" ???!!!!!!! the less funny joke i've evr heard in years ! even if the global warmin was a hoax, one can't say "the planet is fine" !

  • @maladsyko I'll double that and claim the whole universe is fine. People trying to bully and fearmonger you into submitting, accept increased taxation and all sorts of other things, in order to "save the planet" are just playing with your mind / wasting your time ;)

More than 99% of all species that ever lived are now extinct. This is not a mistake, it's how the planet / universe works. So yeah, they're both fine ;)

  • @calin4thewin : u're probably sponsored by Exxon mobile, Shell, Nokia, Samsung, Ford, GM, Monsanto, Boeing, the city, wall street, petrodollars...etc

  • @maladsyko Of course. You can see my channel in which I study art and talk about all sorts of weird stuff, but in my secret life I wear a suit and tie, dark sunglasses and infest the world with Monsanto mutant seeds. And oil.

Just the fact that I disagree with TZM dogma identifies me as a 100% consumerist pig with no imagination. Clearly I am nothing but a corporate sellout, and my no.1 strategy for world domination is leaving comments on youtube, to discourage honest TZM'ers like yourself :)

  • @calin4thewin : lol ! no seriously, i didn't say that ! it's up to u to agree or not with TZM ideas ( i won't call that dogma ). But what identifies u as a 100 % consumerist, as a possible devil's advocate, is that u believe that "the world is fine". How could u say that ? or... maybe u're simply in love now, and u see everything in pink ;)

  • @maladsyko Well if you read my full comment, I said that all species disappear sooner or later. This includes humans. Sure we may bring about this extinction sooner than it needs to come, but hey that's life. The planet is still very much fine. It has seen a lot of natural disasters already, as I said there are perfectly natural volcanoes that spew out more CO2 than we could ever hope to. Same for meteors, tsunamis etc.

Would be better if we got along more, but that's optional. Planet's fine.

  • Great designs, great ideas, now we just need a few brave governments to say, OK, let do it.

Come on world, let make the change.

  • @hotkeez Can't do that. Before given the resources for anything, TVP would have to prove themselves, and they haven't.

Before convincing a govt. to give taxpayer money, TVP should convince say, Google to let them design a better Google place. Or some other factory, for some other company. It's an even playing field, and most companies will buy the better design.

How come TVP can't deliver something like that ?

  • @hotkeez : those should b real democratic gvts ! not corrupted, cowards puppets assemblys ! even revolutions could not bring such gvts. i really don't see any possible way to reach the VP dream, at least in the next few decades. all we can do now is to spread the word, and to think of realistic alternative solutions. but who knows... anything could happen in ths world...

  • @maladsyko Spreading the word is definitely NOT the only thing to do. Far from it.

Look at opensourceecology. They are DOING stuff and have made quite some progress. Soon more and more people will get on board, and make it happen. Look at couchsurfing. Simple beginnings, great impact. Movement's growing.

If TZM only offers the option of talking and making crappy videos, then it's a problem with the ideas of TZM, not the people in it. We all can do a lot, but not with the wrong plan :)

  • @calin4thewin : yes, you're right. But as you say, "we may bring about this extinction sooner than it needs to come". So we're responsible, and should bring the change before it's too late.

  • @hotkeez i think the governments that we have today won't do anything about anything you see in zeitgeist movies. governments today are designed to think the favors of the ruling elite and their well beings rather than the well beings of ,say the starving children in africa. imo the oil must be depleted as well as our drinking water and other essential resources. the system will try to save itself until we reach the point where there is no turning back. I wish the governments take action, but...

  • @hotkeez well..if you are really into it, then make it your sole meaning of your life..i advise you to start with small & developed countries..its easier to change them and the cultural level in developed societies would be something that would allow the change..meaning..the people wouldn't see it as a hopeless idea, but instead they would say: ''yes, this is it, this is how we advance now''

  • We do not need participatory democracy, we need COMPETENT democracy. People with expertise doing things in their field, not politicians that have no ide how to slolve problems, except by some legislation... People will work and they will work much less then today. and the boring monotonous jobs will be fazed out. learn about human behavior and influences befor again assuming how things will work...

  • Ive been watching this video every day to give me inspiration to keep doing what I do.

  • Can I just say as a general comment to anyone watching this, please please pleaaaaaase investigate the Project in full detail and do your own research; Fresco has been doing this for 70 + years so arguing for OR against with groundless points or your own opinion is useless. This whole project is based upon science so you have to criticise/ support it with science (all sciences). Of course if you're just curious feel free to probe ^^, I did so myself and arrived at one answer...I like this idea!

  • @donkisiko the only problem with the idea is humans :3

  • I like it.

  • If this ıs the plan for the future.. god help us

  • @moorelovely Don't hold back, we'd love to see your plans, because your criticism alone does nothing for us.. This is about building a better world for everyone, so wouldn't you like to help out in building that world? Remember that cities are always changing, we'll never reached utopia, and TVP is certainly not a utopia.

  • The only reason we will never reach a utopia is because the world can always get better.

  • @WakeUpWorldTV

you can reach whatever you want to reach

thing is... simplicity is the key .. not technology.. luxuries end up as necessities.. I was right with the Zeitgeist movement.. then it said.. in one word.. the solution is technology.. and it lost me... because in one word it is love... love is the centre... of government... of building.. of health.. of education... of everything... and what is wrong with JC.. he is not an allegory.. wake up..world.. I agree..

you will see my plans soon

  • @moorelovely love? Love won't cure cancer. Love won't feed the starving. Love won't protect against predation. It may be a nice ideal to have but it needs something behind it to make it work. I wish humans would just grow up and get with the Program -____-

  • @PinkProgram

    Hahahahahaha (Y)

  • Some of you Fukkaz just Don't Get It.

FFS, get over this crazy world we live in & let's build a new one....as this one is FUBAR!

  • i dont want to come across as another person just putting my opinion across and just out right saying this project will not work, but i think it would be a pretty poor existence having to live in a environment that is enirely manmade and repetative, personal i am a creative person i am a 3D artist and i draw inspiration from my environment which if the world was like this would be limited i hope i never live to see this as it will be the death of art you cannot creat without insporation.

  • @MrConcj it would be a pretty poor existence having to live in a environment that is enirely manmade and repetative? have u looked at the world around you? And this video is only about Mr Fresco designs on a city system not about a culture that will emerge during the time we have an RBE. remember there a thousands of architects, designers, city planners that may produce unique cites but are equally efficient. He aims to create an environment where people express there full creativity.

  • @MrConcj Do we not already live in an environment that is entirely man-made and repetitive? All cities are man-made, but they do not have to be repetitive. Jacque's models themselves are an inspiration towards a better world, not a final-frontiers. They've inspired me, and over a half-million others and counting, in our own artistic ways. Your criticisms are worthless, if you don't offer an alternative. So, what do you have to offer? I'd love to be inspired by and share your city designs.

  • @MrConcj Yeah you just have to do some more thorough research, read the free E-books on Jacques website and you will start seeing the unlimited potential for art and invention in our future. Having someone work at a job that automated technology could do all on its own is truly a waste of art and human creativity. What purpose does working have in our world today? Keep us consumed in a work hard-play hard mentality. This is a culture of entertainment and eye candy. Not much with substance today

  • "current cities will be museums" DAMN YOU FRESCO! LOL... every idea I've had that I think is original I find Mr Fresco has thought of exactly the same as me! well I havent heard him speaking of how software will integrate ppl with this world and is something I been thinking about for years too :) hope he hasnt thought of the same idea as me again! for like the 200th time. I love TVP.

  • @Xality Every idea I have seems to be about 10 decades ahead of him ;3 He doesn't keep track of current innovations.

  • i dont know if it's possible. All the houses and things look pretty much alike, do you think architects and designers will leave it alone?

  • Stop arguing, for crying out loud, it's people like you with your self obsessed opinions that are the EXACT reason why The Venus Project is unlikely to be built. Fuck you with your segmented value systems and nations, as long as you keep arguing this thing will never happen.

  • I want this to be done.

  • So what are you (whoever "you" are) going to do with already existing city populations when you level the old cities. Do you have any idea of the numbers involved? You can't just move that many people out of the way while you build your bullshit cities that really are just the same as what we already have, only more rabbit-warrenlike than anything else the world has ever seen. Who is really going to be in charge? I've heard you, Fresco, avoid that question plenty! I say you are FULL OF IT.

  • @looterish Good question. This is part of the transition, not the actual rbe. It's really up to you how we get there. There are multiple ways in dealing with existing-city populations, when leveling old cities. You could build new cities first; provide temporary housing for cities under-construction; build cities in sections and not all at once, while still providing temp-housing. Temp-housing does not have to be boxed-trailers, they could be beautiful homes. Those are "MY" reasonable options.

  • @WakeUpWorldTV Dont worry - mother nature will force them to move.. when the worlds oceans rise and displaced billions of people...

  • @WakeUpWorldTV Why would we "level" a city? That's ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with existing cities, they just need to close down polluting factories and clean up some of the rough parts as well as move to energy systems based on "free energy" technologies which have been suppressed. Also, we wouldn't need all that copper used to carry electricity if suppressed technologies such as tesla's were released.

  • @Razorvan There's so much wrong with our current cities. Most houses are old, and made of wood, which are easy to burn down, and destroys forests. The Great Cul-De-Sac Problem (Google It). One or to entrances to an entire neighborhood is insane. The roads are completely unsafe to drive on, at least w/ human drivers. Search 'Fatal Accident' in Google News everyday - for a month, and you'll see what I'm talking about. I could literally go 4ever w/ these problems, but these should get you thinking.

  • @WakeUpWorldTV I agree with all your points. But rather than demolish everything, just fix it. Houses could be coated with some sort of fire retardant materials rather than tearing them down. It's possible to add a few more entrances to most cul de sac communities. I disagree with the principle of a car, or truck to carry one person. Electric trains work well. Singapore is a good example, Bangkok as well. We can improve cities without tearing them down.

  • @Razorvan "Just fixing it" does nothing at all, because your fixing the problem and not removing what creates the problem.

    For Example:

House1: Old w/o AC = Hot house in the summer.

House2: New with AC = Cool house + Low E-Bill

House1: Old with AC = Cool house + High E-Bill

The new house has far better insulation, hence less energy is needed to cool the house. Simply cooling the old house is fixing the problem, but now the old has a higher E-bill than the new. There's still a problem here.

  • @WakeUpWorldTV so insulate the house with a fire retardant insulation. That kills two birds with one stone. Once the monetary system crumbles and we're forced into a new system that works (wishful thinking), you'll be surprised at what types of technologies develop when information is shared and competition is eliminated. Also when free energy technologies (which exist today but are suppressed) are released, we won't be as worried about paying the electric bill.

  • @Razorvan

I think the point WakeUpWorldTV is trying to make here is that it would be so much easier to build new, more modern and easily upgradable structures as shown in Fresco's for example (Since techonology would be constantly advancing) than it would to uprgrade all the old infrastructure (which by the way is unequal, you have slums, you estates and then you have mansions etc... who gets what?) not to mention the very basis of Fresco's design is efficiency, which current cities are far

  • @Razorvan

From, The idea behind Fresco's circular cities and transportation systems would allow for far more creativity amongst the architects and engineers working on the project. and don't the most important thing is "is it as sustainable as current technology allows?" we can't be satisfied with the cities of today when we could have the cities of tomorrow, for everyone. Keeping the old image of civilisation would also hinder people from moving on socially and culturally. You think otherwis?
