these drums can sound really nice, but there are some very retro e-kits modeled...it's just another percussion choice, acoustic drums serve a purpose, so do e-drums...but you have to get a TD-20 to get enough outputs to EQ a kit properly...the feel is what's really amazing about V-Drums...

Why does he need so many pedals when you can switch kit sounds with a pad, rim or pedal. He could have a pad dedicated to changing kick drum sounds and get away with a double bass drum, or at least cut down on a few.
