In my opinion, you can't say you are a Satch fan if you don't love the beauty of this entire album. This is my absolute favorite album. It is so well rounded. Even Joe himself said that this was an exceptionally good album because he was able to crank out 15 songs that were all amazing in their own way.

They were well spoken so your welcome trevskiw2008 .Yes i am i music fan and have played the guitar for over 18 years and understand what you say as i have had some jam nights where i have been so into the tune we were playing it felt like i was 2 feet off the ground and for those few moments nothing else mattered as everything around seemed to fade away.I was free.Joe,s music doe that ,one of my most favorites from him that has a intense emotional impact for me was The Forgotten Part 1 and 2.

why thankyou, you are alot more experienced in the world of music and guitar but i think when you unlock your mind an let the music play with your emotions how you explained, felt like you were "2 feet off the ground "

i understand the great hight music can take you, i hope one day to feel the same as i have been in many bands but never had opportunity to play such emotional music as satriani.

it is nice to know there is still guys out there that feel the same way as me.

@axeg Right, it is my opinion, but it is a Fact that most of his music is technically brilliant as far as its employment of modes, scales, and tempos. Anyone who ever listened to "Building The Church" would see that.

I sincerely apologize if I've offended you. This was not my intention. I was looking into the music theory within the context of their lead melody, rhythm, and tempo. One is more technical than the other, at least generally.
