  • Wow So Good ... Thank you ~~~Thank you...And Loved Your Video !! Hugsssssss

  • I know this is an old Vid. but just letting you and your subscribers know this bread recipe while absolutely easy and delicious is out of the ballpark on cals. As close as I can figure it has approx. 454 (or more) cals. per recipe (one serving), and approx. 20 g. of fat. That is more than I have for a meal, not to mention a sandwich, for pity's sake. All that being said, thank you for the great idea and I am going to try & tweak it down to equal my loCarb bread from store which is 80 cals.

  • Looks amazing! what is carbquick exactly?

  • Hiyaaaa! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (search on google)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my cousin got hot 6 pack abs and lost a ton of weight with it.

  • I'm going to try this later when it's time to make breakfast.

  • Have just made my first batch for my breaky & managed to slice my small loaf into three slices,I could only eat 1 1/2! It is very filling & tasty toasted with poached egg on top:)

I will try making a toasted sandwich with it next.English cheddar with a dash of onion & tomato Mmm For those people living in England who are finding it difficult to get hold of carbquick, just search on line. I found a firm in Bedfordshire who supply it. A little pricey but worth the price if you miss your sarny's :)

  • Ingredients:

    1/3 cup flaxmeal

    1/3 cup carbquik

    pinch of salt

    1/2 tsp baking powder

    1 egg

    1 tbsp oil

    1 tbsp half and half

  • Is this induction friendly?

  • I used atkins all purpose baking mix in stead of carb quick cause I could not find it,and it turned out pretty bad.does that make a big difference?did not look like yours, can't see what i did wrong?

  • I used a small styrofoam bowl; after 2:22 in the microwave, the bread came out perfect and the bowl had turned in to a perfetly formed small plate.

  • Thanks for this great bread, it was fabulous, I tried the microwave, and I also tried the toaster over...the toaster oven won, it is my go to bread, I use it for breakfast lunch, dinner, or just a nice buttered snack.

  • i have just been diagnosed with diabetes and just love bread and am looking forward to making this little baby for my lunch, awsum!

  • I just made this with the almond flour instead of the carbquick and it came great. The only thing I did different was that I used a small glass Corelle bowl and microwaved it for 1 minute and 25 seconds instead of 1 minute. I like the results and got to enjoy a great sandwich! Thank you!

  • I checked the website but did not see the recipe. Can you post it here?

  • Really Awesome. I don't have carb meal, I've never heard of it, I will have to find it. Thanks for this great recipe, I can't wait to make it. THANKS.

  • You need to put the ingrediants and stuff into the description box

  • I just lost over half a stone in 11 days... It was hard because i love bread so much, so this is gonna help me even more now i can eat bread! woop!

  • can you write me the ingredients

  • Amazing! Simple easy lo-carb bread in 5 minutes!

  • Wow...this is amazing. Thanks. I am a new subscriber for sure.

  • enjoyed your video and gonna try it out tomorrow morning.. hope you keep up the neat recipes.. thanks

  • I really enjoyed watching you prepare the low carb bread. My patients love sandwiches and skimp on the bread to control the carbs. I will pass this recipe on to them. Thanks, again,

  • What ingredients does carb quik have?

    Thank you

  • not sure what I got wrong I did the it exactly like you said but my bread didn't grow, only thing I did different was the almond flour, but you mentioned it in there so it's basically all there...I even put the ingredients in the same order...after the microwave it was just as small as when I put the paste in the bowl... any suggestions? Taste was fine, very nice and nutty because of the almond butter.

  • and for the record for me personally, I dont really like the taste of low carb breads so I steer away from bread period, with that said , its is nice to have options though, honestly i dont really miss bread or pasta at all. I do alot of lettuce wraps and enjoy those completely.

  • seems be some confusion about the mayo and stuff..which leads me to believe that a few of u havent reallly read what low carb is all about. Low Carb is just that low carbohydrate; it means those of us who do a low carb diet only are concerned with the carbohydrate counts not fat , not calories, not anything else really. In fact good healthy fats are encouraged for consumption. so its no surprise that mayo was put on this bread because mayo for alot of low carbers, who like mayo, its a mainstay.

  • hmm I didnt see the recipe on the website :(

  • Oh my gosh.

I'm 19 and so addicted to bread so when I started my Low card diet I had such a struggle Ive kind of gotten into the habit of self control but its so hard but this recipe is amazing I'm going out tomorrow to bye all the stuff for it!! thank you thank you!!

    -Chloe

  • lol low carbs and then you throw mayo and cheese on it, lol. but very nice

  • lol you lost me at maonaise... lol nice vid im diabetic ill be trying this

  • This looks great. Do you know if it would work with soy flour?

  • all i can say is thanks, thank ,and thank it great

  • awesome thanks just what I was looking for. :)

  • thank you so much for this recipe! i think it should be called WONDERBREAD. exceedingly fast, easy.....ready when you need it. i'm very surprised at the texture---seems like real bread (i should qualify that...to one who's been on low-carb for three months...it's the cadillac of bread. :)) ) i'm thinking of throwing in a few raisins, some nuts and splenda and maybe use it for french toast. thx agn.

  • Yes, add that yummy bacon, mayo too if you want. Yum, fat, good stuff. How I lost 100 pounds and kept it off for 7 years and counting. Let's see... When did people start to get fatter and fatter? Oh yeah, when the government started telling people to avoid fat.

  • can you shoot this video again without saying uhhh, ummmm every 5 seconds. It's

    terribly distracting.

  • @wilknight12345 no but u can. lol some one woke up on the wrong side of sumthin.

  • @sinnerpeace no, i can't do it either. That's why i don't have any videos up. 8^)

  • I tried this, had to wait for the carb quick to come through mail....was the worst thing i ever put in my mouth. not sure if the ground flaxmeal i used is the problem or what?

  • Wow. Great recipe as far as the bread is concerned, but then you put mayo and bacon on it. That's like a thousand calories right there!

You should count calories as well on your diet, no matter which one you are following. Just eliminating carbs will not make you thinner, overall calorie intake is important too.

  • what's a carbquik???

and what can be used to substitute it??? (i can't find it where i live)

  • @pamdento me neither but you can order it online

  • GREAT recipe-- just want to mention though---it is not healthy to use throw away plastic containers from deli foods in the microwave. Chemicals in plastic leaches and will transfer to food -- been shown to be carcinogenic. Better to use glass or ceramic.

  • Hi there,i made this Bread, really lovely, should i be counting Calories on the Low Carb diet, thank's

  • I made this Bread,i did'nt have any Carbquick so i used Almond -meal,it was really delish!!!and so satisfying,i will have this often, thank you,and yes it was like a miracle, excellant!!!

  • I just tried this bread and it was great! Thanks for your recipe!

  • mayo? omg barfffffffff

  • Interesting. I have the deli slice provolone extra thick and use that for "bread" but I have been craving real bread lately. Question - I don't like carb quick or almond flour - could I substitute soy flour? I probably will. I will use olive oil too. It is all I keep anymore.

  • @lnbrnnn One thing to remember too is that most deli meats are high in carbs... so always go for the fresh meat sliced rather than the processed stuff like the hams etc. not sue why they have more carbs in... obviously todo with the stripping compacting and preserving process of processed meats I guess.

  • low carb eh? Then you're gonna put mayonnaise and bacon?

  • @mcrss26 Bacon is zero carbs... fatty yes but carb wise no worries... as for the mayo... yep it has carbs but being able to eat a tasty sarnie with a low carb count is piceless.

  • @JugglerPompeyPirates oh....thanks for the info............. I love my carbs, fats, and cholesterol. ^_^

  • @JugglerPompeyPirates I am confused - most mayos I have used are zero to 2 carbs per tablespoon. I use Kraft - zero carbs, zero sugar - for sandwiches. For salads I opt for Kraft Olive Oil mayo. It 2 carbs but half the calories (45) and much less fat (4% vs 10%). Years ago I used Duke's because it was the only one at the time that didn't have sugar but there are lots more available now..

  • @lnbrnnn Hello... certain mayo's are low in carb while some others are higher... at the end of the day the idea, for a diabetic, is to have a balanced controlled diet but also to be able to endulge yourself once in a while with fillings that you would normally keep away from as the bread plus the filling would be too much. For instance Bananas... 15 carbs for a good sized banana and then 15 carbs per slice of bread (2 of them) 45 carb lunch.... now remove bread and insert treats... yum yum

  • @mcrss26 Mayonnaise and bacon are low carb.

  • Any way to make this without CARBQUICK. Only available by mail order

  • Can you use Sunflower oil?

  • Do gold flaxseeds taste better than the brown ones? I had the brown ones in this ficotta bread recipie i got and YUCK!

  • Whats the point of all this low carb stuff? Pointless.

  • @LbsOfTech Low carb is what us Diabetics seek out. Bread is one of the highest carb food stuffs about apart from candies etc... so this is actually far from pointless.

  • I MADE THIS BOTH IN THE MICROWAVE AND ALSO THE OVEN AT 350 FOR 20 MINUTES. GROUND MY OWN ALMONDS IN THE BLENDER INSTEAD OF THE MIX AND IT IS THE BEST! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE RECIPE, I'LL USE IT A LOT

  • Hey great video!

Can I substitut carb quick with something else?

I live in Denmark so we don't have it. If I can't use anything else can I buy carb quick online?

    Thanks!

  • @Bayar2008 you can buy it online i did

  • Awesome, I'm gonna try this, thanks.

    yeshuawaterdotcom

  • That's great but do they sell this already made? Just saying, sometimes a person with a busy schedule might want to just grab the bread and not have to microwave.

  • Just found your Pizza Crust video! Looks great! Want to try it but what glutenfree lowcarb substitute would you suggest to replace Carbquik in that recipe?

  • Thanks for sharing this! I can't use Carbquik (gluten) but w/your suggestion in vid was able to modify recipe using 1/3 c. Almond Meal and 1/3 c. Golden FlaxMeal (I used sprinkle of splenda to cut bitterness) Sticky dough but spreadable w/back of spoon dipped in cold water. Made a mini-pizza (eaten with fork) and my first cheese sandwich in ages! Delicious and so filling! Do you know how I would make this sturdier for a larger crust? (trying for more servings/less calorie dense)

  • Is this induction friendly?

  • Just purchased the ingredients from Trader Joe's and it works. Taste great too!

  • I have made this & the first time I thought it was too soggy and too fluffy for sandwich bread. The 2nd time I made it, I eliminated the baking soda so it was a little flatter & denser for sandwich bread. It was still a little soggy so I microwaved another 30 seconds. Better, but still too soggy. Next time I'll leave out the oil. Since the 2nd try wasn't good for a sandwich, I sprinkled Splenda & cinnamon on it and it made TERRIFIC breakfast cake!

  • Can you do this in oven too? (maybe a stupid question, but I fear that microwaves ruin the food cause it warms the food inside, some doctors say this) What is the stuff you but after the salt? I don't speak english so well sry.. if you could write it here I could translate it :)

  • @51sth I found it.. carbquik

  • Microwaves wam the food from the outside inwards....

  • Two weeks ago i wasn't sure of sticking to low carb, i fail so many times because of no bread rule. This bread saved me and i am in second week of my induction. Those who say this is not legal for induction. Not entirely true. I altered the recipe used walnut mix(less carbs) instead of carb quick. My clothes are getting loose I use it for sandwhich, tortilla(i use roti/totilla maker machine) pancakes, french toast, or just with creamcheese. I do MeatEgg eat diet vegetables two days a week.

  • I reduce the calories by using 1 TBS unsweetened applesauce instead of the oil, and 1/4 cup Egg Beaters instead of the egg. Tastes great.

  • Instead of Flax seed meal I used Almond Flour, added a little water and liquid splenda. It made quite a nice shortcake for a strawberry shortcake.

  • What is carb quick?, do you buy it from a health food shop, I live on a tiny islands 9 by 5 miles, we do not have such a thing in our supermarket, is there another name for it.

By the way the recipe looks great.

  • This is awesome! I gotta try this lol

May I ask you a question? What is carb quick or quick carb (was it?) Can I buy it at the local grocery store?

I wonder if you can make that too?

  • Um, wow!! Just tried this and it really is good!! You may have saved me from caving in and buying ww bread. I had a turkey cheese sandwich and will try the sweet version 2nite. THANKS!!

  • Nice but I believe you'd be better off using butter or olive oil rather than kanola oil, which is a processed type of oil. Remember, anything that is naturally found in human diet since dark ages is better to eaten.

  • I agree with you. The advantage to canola oil is that you get omegas 3, 6, and 9 in a single oil. Now probably the best way to do that without using canola oil, is to use a dash of cold pressed flax seed oil, a little corn oil, and a smidge of olive oil. That way you're covered on all 3 of the omegas and are doing so in a with much more natural ingredients.

  • *since prehistoric times.

  • butter is processed food isn't it?

    @@???????

  • Negative, I've made butter before all I really had to do is take some raw heavy cream (I'm sure regular heavy cream works just fine) and shake the heck out of it until it forms butter :)

  • @hayeda80 Canola is not processed any more than other oils. You can get it cold-pressed and it's excellent.

  • @hayeda80 Canola is not processed any more than other oils. You can get it cold-pressed and it's excellent. Oh, and don't nuke anything in plastic containers.

  • Where do you get the ingredients without buying them online?Which store?ZI didnt see this on your site?

  • Great Ill try it thankyou.

  • I have done this very recipe many times. This recipe is very versatile that can become pizza crust, add s/f sweetener even a bit of s/f cocoa and it becomes chocolate cake. Golden Flax meal is prettier and to me a bit more tasty than the brown. I have even made it with just almond flour and left out the flax all together. Good video. I have been doing low carb for 5 years faithfully

  • Also I did some research on carbquik. Did you know that this low carb flour is different than traditional flour and kneeding the carbquik is a good thing and pulls the gluten into the mix which is something you do not want to do with traditional flour. Check out the sticky about it at lowcarbfriends.

  • wow thats super interesting, Ill check that out thanks for the tip

  • did you say "carb quick"? I've never heard of that or seen it in the stores. Where do I get that?

  • Hi, I get it online, just google carb quick or your local health food store.

  • Nice work!

Tried this with cream and almond flour, worked a treat!

    Keep up the good work

  • Thanks its fun to make heathly food that keeps the blood sugar regulated.

  • @lowcarbmeals You can get rid of your type 2 in one month. And it will never come back. Watch the documentary Forks over knives. I hope you find the help you deserve. Love from Québec.

  • @MuscleHack I did mine that way also, only I oiled a tiny pan and baked it in my toaster oven... I had salted butter on it .YUMMM!!!!!

  • What a life saver you are!

  • Thanks! Now dont eat too many of these, you know what the flax seed will do to you...hehehehe.....but its so darn good for you, and low carb!! Im gonna try a breakfast one tomorrow made with a nut filling so be sure to stay tuned. Enjoy!!

  • I thought I would just say DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to find a homemade recipe for a long time. This is it. I will be almost living off of this for the next while. Thank you.

Hope your website is fully up soon.
