@Eksirrob Actually, its one of those variable transmissions that doesn't shift, it'l like a huge-ass centrifugal except it works much better. It ain't stick but it sure seems to work well. lol, i thought the same exact thing you said when i first watched though, :)

Supra Twin Turbo's are 6-Speed fromthe factory, Ryan's newest Supra took a chunk out of the ass of a Highly modified Twin Turbo Viper. Ryan's newest Supra is a Street Car, His new Supra is going to break into the 7's there is video of it doing 8.4, Even on youtube I think there's a video of it running a mid-8 if you would like to see it just ask. I've never seen a Street Car Viper run much faster than that if at all on Street legal Tires, and we're not talking about trailer queens, street cars.

if think about it, its not much of a surprise... you're comparing a 8.3 V10 against a 3.0 L6 (@3.4 most of the time)...

obviously you can extract more power from THAT... but now, think about how big that difference is, and the fact that the Supras still give a lot of work to those Vipers to beat them... they're WAY more EFFICIENT engines, instead of just raw power from a big size ;)

just drive a Viper: although very powerful, they're are not as comfortable and pleasant to drive... my 2cents

@xxBlackpspxx All about the power/liter? When you hit the track and get beat down, you can spit that out that you won because your motors smaller if you like. Sal's viper put 1850 to the rear wheels, There is another viper putting just over 3000 at the crank. Supra's are amazing but can't handle vipers brute force.
