picked mine up yesterday 12/27/2010 ran it loved it tell it was setting on my counter and my little girl came running out side and told me my car was smoking ran in the house and it was on fire and only a day old what do you have to say about that will they fix it give me a new one or do i sue

@2222rog you must have over discharged the batteries or left the car on? it could be some short circuit due to hot connectors or could be a malfunction / accident. accidents happen to all of us.

Ok I have done it a number of times, even on Futaba receivers in my airplanes. I then cut the wire cover and get the naked cables from broken parts, join the cables, and put electric tape on it. My Receivers work great. The receiver that i use to fly F22 Raptor jet is with broken and repaired antenna cable. you can see i have no troubles with that :D

Because I tried it with some different wires I found in radios and broken computers but none of them seem to work, please help me, I tried going to the Hobby People store but they said they don't like any product that is not from them :/ Thanks!

you can't find antenna wires there. it must be that antenna wire. I will have to google it and do some research to see what wires can be suitable.

question....redcat charges almost the same amount for their trucks and cars as more reputable companies such as hpi, traxxas do...but redcat quality is roughly half that of hpi or traxxas.....if the quality of your trucks is half as good shouldnt the price be slashed in half as well?...bottom line is you charge way to much for the crappy quality your company provides....even exceed knows to charge the bare minimum for the crap they produce...u r a likable guy ali. but get a job @ better company

all i can say about lipos.......PATIENCE.

i love the power they provide, and the weight to power ratio, however, waiting 3.5 hrs isnt that bad for 2 3200MaH lipos. the better chargers wont likely be faster, get 2 balancing chargers from towerhobbies, they're $40 a peice for a decent one.
