  • Still looking for a tip for mine for no I coated it liberaly with JB weld to protect it but I use 4 "O rings" first 2 mark length of track from 2 to 3 is gait 3 and 4 measure length again bu I started mine to follow people in the woods is why I have extra.

  • Good vid, Kepis... You're a good teacher. I keep a couple of extra bands on my stick so that I can take measurements of track length, width, etc... When tracking humans (Search and Rescue or law enforcement)... the track length and width are important to ensure that you stay on the right trail and don't begin to track your team mates. For animals, extra measurements aren't necessary, but I've always had fun measuring and documenting them.
