In some areas of Canada (I vacation there), there can be a problem with ice fishermen leaving their empties on the ice, then when it thaws, the bottles sink to the bottom of the lake, breaks, and can become quite hazardous for swimmers/ waders. Sounds like Red's invention would be the perfect solution to the problem!
