When music was music...when we had singers and musicians instead of yellers and noisicians. Bobby Vinton did a wonderful version of this briefly available on You Tube, unfortunately not now. Not looking for a debate...these guys were the original...nobody beats that, but Bobby paid great respect to it on his oldies album that included "Over The Mountain" and others...Mr. Lee Andrews and the Hearts..."Long Lonely Nights" & "Try The Impossible"...Awesome Possum!...Blessings all...Tunesmith
Brian Wilson mentioned that the Beach Boys song "God Only Knows" was the first time he thought it was used in a song. Lee Andrews had hin beat by a generation. "God only knows the girl who will love me..." Great song!
