YOU ARE THE BEST AT WOW GUIDE. caz other people explain while they are doing the boss. You break it down to every section of the fight, show what they do. what to do and what NOT to do. AND THEN show the boss kill with epic music.

well something that doesn't require hours of reading forehand and is basic gameplay mechanic. but the thing they just really have to make 'em so to come up with something new. it's natural evolution that fight have to come crazier

now that I've done this, have to say it was very easy. and that's what wrong with gimmicky fights, they are one time learn and they become easy. and repeating them is utterly boring.just look at the huge amount of players quiting after couple of months.

Thoughts on dealing with Aegis of Fire/Rising Flames? I noticed that four ticks of the Flames went off before it was interrupted and that no ones health dropped dangerously low. Not sure on how long/how many ticks it took my group before we got the interrupt off, but it WAS killing us, so much so that popping Tranq (Ima healer) was necessary, which seem inappropriate. Do you guys have ranged switch before the shield is even up and/or are minor dps CDs used for it (which seems reasonable)?

Pretty sure the buffs from heart of ice and burning blood is only active as long as the debuff is active. Meaning you can disspell the fire debuff if ur ranged heavy and heart of ice needs to be timed to be active when the shield is active.

Thunershock deals 25% (35k) or something like that to your health, so you will can survive, without getting the Grounding Debuff.

On another Note this boss is like all other boss expect Al'akir (I am told) is easyer than on 25man (Like Lich King 10 (Cata 25) vs Lich King 25 man (Cata 10))

Hey Jesse, for phase 3, it is actually easier on normal mode to tank the boss in the middle. Why? because the ice patch only ticks for 3k, the amount of movement you would lose from healing and DPS is not worth it, and also, all ranged/healers can spread those 6 yards they need to and not chain the AoE he does.

PS: It gets you the achievement too, and is way easier on both 10 and 25man.

what i love about a lot of cata encounters is that they require the dude to be awake, you stand in fire? your dead! you stand in raid with lightning rod? your dead! You dont adhere to basic tactics? your dead. BUT if you dont suck then it actually becomes pretty simple, Raiding in cata is not hard, its techinical with lots of stuff to be on the look out for, the heroics on the other hand are hard as goddamn nails, and will kill you all the time forever!

Are you sure Heart of Ice and Burning blood increases damage to all surrounding players when it's dispelled? WoWpedia list it as increasing damage every time it ticks, and that's what the buff says when you mouse over it as well. So it's a choice between dispelling it and losing the extra damage or keeping it and having to outheal the extra damage taken.
