that's a general rule for all sports and video games but there's another general rule which is if the odds are stacked against you you will lose even if you're a better player. steve is top tier and baek is low-medium tier so he lost.

e.g. the US doesn't win wars because their soldiers are better, just better equipped.

You should always use Law against Steve, I beat pros like these (SOMETIMES) just because of Laws high punch parries. Steve is nothing without his jab pressure game xD

Man his tae kwon do is so authentic. I have been practicing TKD for 10 years, very accurate. There is nothing made up, it is all real moves. I know how to do all those moves. Just not as fast. The way he even does his back fist, it is a circle rather than forward motion like bruce lee. We are taught in traditional TKD to make circular backfist.

Baek clearly have spent some time training combos, but Steve is just way better at defending. His reaction time and abilty to see openings are pretty damn good.

Baek can be a real pain in the ass to fight with his long and varied combos. I am really glad NIN kicked his ass, a much better player overall.

Maybe Baek had more combos but Steve had much better timing and I think he did well, did you see Baek destroy that Bruce in the earlier rounds? He had no chance

@rubik12 Dude , Steve is like that , he has less combos , but when its necessary , one of these few combos will make the opponent dies instantly coz the damage caused is very much compared to other character but requires many combo moves. And 1 thing , if you're good at steve , you need know how to defend well more than your combo , this is because when Steve is good at defend , no one can hardly beat him.
