It depends on what configuration you use it in. He missed the thickest beanie style, which I've used down to -43 at work. The upper limit is dependant on how you feel about the polartec, I cant stand it much above 40-45.

Im going treking in the Himalayas and because of the elevation, I need sun protection. Why dont they make the polar buff with the coolmax UV material? Whats the point of making any Buff without the UV material?
