i have both [and are one of the main jailbreakers the brought the "open endedness" to the iphone as well as am beginning to discover the capabilities of the g1 and they have many more difference than similarities to be compared.. those doing so do not know much about what goes on behind the scenes sort of speak
iphone has more apps not a big deal

The I phone is a GREAT looking phone, im not going to liee...
But still, the G1 is a better and more sophisticated phone.
soo for me its "G1 FOR THE WIN!~"

I completely agree with you. However I would have to say the G1 is more of a separate category.
