  • Started swallowing in July, 2010....4 months with dysphagia.

Thank God I can chew and swallow food now!!! Yeah!!!

  • Postoperative Day #49:

swallowing getting better. Eating oatmeal, soup, and Belgium chocolates:-). LoLv

  • that's so awesome. I hope you are doing well Margaret

  • @TheDarksEmpyrean : Day 1 that's a BiPAP machine (like CPAP, for sleep apnea)... every time I slept, my throat obstructed the air. Longest night of my life.

I know they don't think I can do it, so I like to surprise them with a walk around the nurses' station. To them, I looked completely different as a 'standing' person instead of a 'laying down' person. Actually, could totally dupe someone, as no one recognizes me at first :-).

Thank you for staying in my life.

  • @DysautonomiaMD it's really good to hear from you. I wish you a speedy recovery. keep strong my friend and God Bless You

  • Hello my friend. How are you? I can see that you have been having a hard time but I am sure that sun will shine again for you. I have been thinking about all the people who suffer from Dysautonomia and I have decided that some day I am going to create a charity to help fund research for a possible cure. I am still trying to contact people including Ellen Degeneres and I will never give up on all the people who suffer from this. I hope that you get well and you will be in my prayers. HUGS!

  • @Vernydog92 : your heart is in the right place. Don't ever let any one change you, OK? There is always a way for things to work out.

Home from the hospital and slowly recuperatiing....but wanted to send you special love. LoLv, Dr. Margare
