Best dog ever and my favourite one!And it's true about if someone break into your house doberman won't let breaker go!He will bit him and weak enemy with his powerful and stronge body(shaking and pulling enemy down) or he will cut braeker into the pieces. The most think i like is that doberman only can be loyal to one boss.

That's the reason why all special forces are using dobermans and why every man in an force team got his own doberman that he trains. Really love dobermans! :)

@pitbullmad007 ---> Heck yah they can. My dog is first and foremost a family dog. We live on one acre and he gets along with all the children and senior citezens and everything in between...he "gaurds" not attacks, when STRANGERS walk by or knock. My dog can decipher between threats and "new people" or scents.

@pitbullmad007 my mother bought us a doberman when i was 1 year old (many said she was irresponsible). but the dog was like a brother to me til unfortunately he went 'doggy heaven' aged 14 i think? i dont remember but my mum says the dog would tolerate me and my brothers pulling ears, poking eyes and allsorts, id never felt scared of him ever and even as a kid and teenager, he would always listen and obey even me.

Once you go Dobie you will never want any other dog. My pup is almost 2 years old and 110lbs. He's awesome and a huge suck specially around kids. But i'll bet you any money that if you break into my house you're not coming out in one piece.

So true my dobie is wonderful and caring in the day but when night comes,he's on protection mode.Last summer someone broke into my house but didn't leave anything except a pool of blood.Love my dobie cheers to all the dobie owners.

i agree dobs are cooler, but you cant say they are stronger than rotts. rotts weigh more and have more muscle mass.

there are many dogs who can guard, dobermans are one of the best guarding breeds but not ultimate(to make an ultimate guard dog it doesn't depend if its a doberman or rottweieler it depends on training to attack,protect,food refusal, etc and have no fear so this is what makes ULTIMATE GUARD DOG)
