Dude...saw them at the B.O.B in boston circa 1989....they and Iggy played inbetween the comeptitors. FRACKING ROCKED...shame I never caught them at Bunratty's.
I agree 100 percent when I was just a young pup in the 80's we would see them live at the Bayou in Washington D.C. nothing like seein NRBQ and the whole wheat horns play live. Yankee Stadium was their best album IMO, but this was one band that never got the national attention they deserved. But if you loved Rock n Blues music they were one of the best in the field to combine the two into one baby!!! Get Rhythm......
Took a lot of friends to see the Q in the 80's. They never knew what to expect but they all left as Q fans for life. Unless you saw them live, you'll probably never understand. Too bad.
