The USA is NOT going to invade Libya for oil or any other reason. It's the UK that is most dependent on Libyan oil. Everything is multinational now. My father is general of air-forces in Libya but i saw him last time when i had 3 years, it was 17.november 1989 in day of revolution in CZECH REPUBLiC. My mother is CZECH and my father Libyan. The USA is NOT going to invade Libya for oil or any other reason. It's the UK that is most dependent on Libyan oil. Everything is multinational now. Just getting the Libyan oil flowing freely is all anybody wants. That's what Libyans want, as long as the money is going to the people instead of some corrupt regime. Thank goodness many of the Libyan soldiers have defected and joined the revolutionaries, some even brave enough to sacrfice their lives by being executed because they refused to shoot the protestors who were unarmed - bless them and may all join the rest of their brave brothers and sisters up in heaven.
