spawn npc's without console... you can download new npc's... like the cool addon half life renaissanse reconstructed... and if you want i can give you the link for the smod sweps for gmod... i think gmod is better than smod:)

@Nathandinosaurfan SMOD was first made for playing the single player campaign of half life 2 with extra weapons, npc's and things like that. GMOD was made for building things and spawning things ect. (I'm sure you know) They both to a excellent job at both.

@dopeman459 The reason why smod doesn't work anymore is because of the engine change in HL2 which provided the engine for smod, and so when Valve changed the engine to that of the HL2 Episode 2 engine, it sort of fucked up mods that relied on the old engine for gameplay.

dude i use to rock with this mod back couple years ago, i put my hard core rock music, then customized the weapons made the capacity for the m4 like100, increased the buckshot count on the full automatic shotgun, loved the freedom of movement in this game! sometimes i even thought it was better than all the games out there!! i loved the aimpoint sights on the rifles....freakin awesome game! The scenery awesome! its Eastern European places! made it even cool!!

i have a problem, when i download SMOD i open it, and play it, But there is nothing different about the game, its just the HL2 campaign with all basic weapons. when i type impluse 101 i only get basic weapons. the HUD also looks exactly the same, the only difference is that there is more motion blur, thats it!
