As much as I hate the rays, they do make the east a much more competitive division. And as for the fights and brawls at these games, why? Either Pedroia or Youkelis was an MVP finalists each of the past 3 seasons, and Pedroia won the MVP 2 years ago. Ellsbury is a 300 hitter with 70 steals, & is 1 of the best defensive players in baseball. And he proved he wasnt milking his injury, when he came back and reinjured his ribs, so he wasnt healed.

Both Martinez and Varitek were on the DL at the same time, forcing Boston to trade for a catcher.
