But due to fear of facing legal issues by naming a black boxer in Mike Tyson's likeness, they decided to change the name to Balrog. i would add more info but i dont enoughs space here. hehe

Again though: Normally I would agree, but the Japanese soundtrack really lacks intensity for me. The US version might take the easy way out by adding nu-metal and stuff, but it just works much better.

@TAkinremi Indeed I rather stick with the old Street Fighter in which Ryu and Ken were the heroes, the strongest warriors in the world and the only two who could kick Bison`s ass...but later Capcom (maybe for some stupid patriotism) gave to Ryu a dark side and now he`s the main and strongest character just because his dark side and Ken is just a useless partner. Stupid Capcom, they screwed SF plot as they did with RE.

6:00 This is the happy moment where Ken breaks the 1on1 rules of every street fight and turns this fight into a disgrace where Bison loses for being too honorable in waiting for Ryu and Ken to fight rather than assist Ken and murder Ryu.

Good movie, but this fight was lackluster, Bison pounded on these guys for almost a whole hour, yet Ryu and Ken use their finishers on him without even giving him a fair pounding first. Bison could just as well brought a gun and killed them at the start =P

Hadoken is not Kame Hame copy, it's just that Japanese people believe in aura around whole body, and in martial arts you have moves that looks like you're going to fire that aura out through your hands. So they just made it like magic attack in almost every anime. Who draw it first really doesn't matter.

Way back when this was made, Bison was using a less than perfect body... and in SFIV he was using another incomplete body... And he still stands out from the rest(canonically, since gamingwise he's always been toned down for the sake of game balance)

I imagine in SFV he'll have that ultimate body he's got his lab coats working on and he'll be an unplayable boss.

Yet I admit that the story on how he got back is crap, and SFIV was in my opinion crap, as I expected something darker rather than the "party carnival" feel the game has.

I still remember when the official canon was that Bison was being overpowered by his own "psycho power" and there are even official illustrations where you see him and what seems to be his wife (hugging him while wearing his cap is probably proof enough) while a doctor stands beside him checking his vital levels going hairiwire because of some "blue sparkle power" coming from his hands and eyes.

I guess you could say he became overpowered and Bison is the "psycho power" rather than the person.

English has a nice music (it uses battle music for the final fight, while jap version has a reunion piece there), but it really degrades Vega/M. Bison into Yet Another Generic Villain. The "Worthy Opponent"-shtick he's got in the

Japanese version makes him actually special. He respects his opponents, and is respectable himself instead of being Yet Another Bitch. Also, the dialogue in the Japanese version is slightly less cliché and cheesy. I think both have their good sides; a welcome thing.

Spanish guy with mask = Balrog

Black boxing dude = M. Bison

Somewhere along the line when SF was being brought to the uses, some names got messed up so every US version of SF now has these names.
