  • Wrongo Buddy, You should never hold the throttle wide open during a landing unless you want to strip a spurgear every time you land, yeh the other tips work just fine, braking in the air and giving it throttle until your up in the air but definitly no throttle while landing, just thought youd like to know from a pro.

  • Tboninator... Stick it to 'em man. Nice job

  • didnt know there was a how to vid on to jump

  • nice vid thanks for the help i could never land my buggy and kept breaking my spoiler. (that is if it affects buggies as well)

  • you dont know jack shit

  • What happens when you push the trigger in the opposite direction, as if you were to drive an RC car in reverse? The wheels slow down. The rotational momentum that your wheels carry is what affects the attitude of your truck- speed those wheels up, and it will rotate backward. Contrarily, slow them down, and it will rotate forward.

Don't believe it? Go try it, moron.

Oh, and by the way, it's "brake", not break, as to break something, like your mother did when she dropped you.

  • lol told him "high five" lol!!

  • LOL nice

  • youre the dumb ass throttle and brake are key go off a jump and slam on the brakes. unless you have 2wd it doesnt work it works only w 4wd vehicles

  • it works with 2wd for sure. I do it on my xxx-t all day.

  • works with 2wd but it works betta wid 4wd

  • your funny..you ever jumped a r/c truck??

  • if your rc is high torqued, the respose is faster.

  • what electric monster truck dou you ricomended to buy 200-400?

  • to burtonkidd thare are 1/8th scales that can get to 100mph i know cus my dad and i race them but usly u wont get them that fast unless u are on a drag strip if your not then dont count on getting 100+ on a track

  • his truck was slow

  • hey i set my stampede to 100% forward reverse and brakes but i dont know how to use the brakes can some tell me?????

  • push your finger forward

  • ok i have been racing rc cars for a very long time. and anyone that this is not working for either has a walmart car. or something with a slow motor haha.. the throttle and brake is the key to jumping kids. good vid 5-5

  • im looking to get a $200-350 truck thats fast and durable any suggestions.

  • traxxas slash, rustler, stampede.

  • stampede or rustler vxl

    or a 1/16 scale e-revo

  • wow those are cool cars, its up to you.

  • savage xss

  • when i jump my truck always nose dives, even if i keep on the throttle. so what can help that?

  • Try approaching the jump at a slower speed and then accelerate just pryor to or on the jump. Also, try adjusting your ride height. Try stiffening the front shocks a bit and/or the rear shocks. Sometimes if the truck is too low or soft in the rear it will bottom out, as the chassis bottoms out it will cause the front to dive. Do not raise the height too much above arms/dogbones level though. Your best bet is to experiment with your approach as stated previously if you feel your setup is good.

  • My one doesn't.

  • thats because u probably have a slow truck that only hits 20 mph

  • Not really that only if you got a motor that will take you all the way to 100mph then yes.

  • Yah good luck, my k4.6 HO screams 31 000 RPM and when you hit a jump and your clutch bell is doing ninety and you land your truck as soon as the tires hit the ground your spur gear stops and your clutch bell just shreds your spur.

So STFU and think before you post.

P.S- there is only one way to get a 1/8th scale nitro engine to go 100 MPH your have to get 100% port & polished, so yah...

  • thanks for the good video, with good demos

  • so do u land with throttle on or no throttle

  • the best is with no throttle but if u come with the truck pointed down to the ground you have to hit the throttle

  • We know you are.

  • it would be itilianized if the comment was removed :o

  • helpful.

  • my truck bottems out when i hit any thing over a foot and a half, how can i fix that

  • lol i have that ramp xD

  • Any car :)

  • yes

  • what truck was that?

  • That Was an HPI Savage 2.2 RTR

  • no it wasnt it was a e-savage

  • so what their saying is that the speed of the wheels actually makes the difference when it is in the air?

    REPLY!!

  • Yup :)

  • Yup try it at a skateboard park that's where you can practice the jumps. That's what I did. :)

  • Yeah!!

  • yep, think of a helicopter, when the blades are spinning clockwise the fuselage will spin counter-clockwise, same thing with this just on its side =)

  • yer

  • the wheels are like gyroscopes and carry inertia while your car/truck is in the air. the torque from the motor when you apply throttle will pitch the vehicle nose up. this is due to the force needed to accelerate the mass of the wheels. when you stab the brakes the inertia stored in the wheels will apply torque to the chassis and pitch the vehicle nose down.

you will see motocrossers (like me) make adjustments in the air just like the RC Cars/Trucks.

    that's the science behind it.

  • Yes but, tour not inside the rc truck. you use your body to level out, right?

  • Comment removed

  • no mention of rebound dampining ?? i know for a fact if you have to much rebound in the back shocks youll nose drive coming off the jump.

  • nice, only trouble is throttling those e savages on landing earns you a twised drive output.

  • need better music it sounds like its from a cheap porn film from the eighty's

  • thanks guys. i was having trouble alot with the nose goin down and it started to tick me off. thanks again

  • Yes, third Newton's movement law.

  • hey, you guys should do a review of the savage xl or somthing new like that.

and one question, do yall know when the release date is for the eight 2.0?? cuz my dad works with them, but will not tell me!!!!!

  • Awesome video guys! I really enjoy it. Looking for more now... Thanks.
