IN MY OPINION, this redesign just wasn´t right, it´s a matter of taste (and or course era preferences, if I may say). I have a 08 Lincoln Navigator, anyone talking smack about it A) Hasn't driven one and B) Cant afford one. Ive towed with mine with a Uhaul car trailer with a 4000lb car on it and frankly I could barely tell I was towing except from take off, once rolling along it has plenty of power and I got good gas mileage as well. Ford did a great job with this one, if you need a big SUV you cant really go wrong.The Escalade looks a little nicer on the outside but is very plastic feeling on the inside.
@MrColdStove I get about 18 in the city and 25+ on the highway. I would recommend this vehicle as it basically drives itself if you just steer it. Glad I own one. Its like being in a big easy chair.

I"ve seen some of the newer big conversion Van equipt with 39 inch Plasma TV, second row recliner with footress and bunch of cool stuff, I think you can build your own converson van for the 3rd of the cost of the newer navigator.
This is a very nice truck. The interior is great for long trips and the air ride can't be beat. Only 300hp but 360ib of torque is what you want. Torque is what pulls you back in the seat. and this truck has an impressive amount of torque. This truck serves it's purpose.Torque is what gets you going, If you had all power and no torque you won't get anywhere.

@CoreyForeside Well in terms of the speed the flying Spur will reach 198 mph,and the Rapide will reach 188 mph.The CTS-V will only do 176 mph,also in terms of acceration the the Porsche Panamera Turbo would probably be the fastest,and is said to be capible of reaching 60 in 3.3 seconds by Car and Driver.

I don't like this truck at all! I have a 2009 Cadillac escalade and my truck looks and I bet drives better than this, and when I say looks better i mean it as there is no comparing because the escalade is more luxurious!! Everyone know that caddy's are top of the line! I love my cadillac and I would never change it for a Lincoln! Lincoln SUXXX!!!!!!!!!

A glorified Ford Explorer. What an Ugly piece of plastic. No offroad differentials, horrible undercarriage protection and those rims and tyres would get torn up on a dirt road. Also no tiptronic gearbox?. Why would you buy this over a Range Rover or a Mercedes GL500 or a Lexus LX570? they are all far superior. It's a ford with makeup gone wrong.

@NFLdude505 , pretty sure the toyota landcruiser is known throughout the world as king off the road and is far safer than that lincoln, american cars are powerful but quality control is poor, resale is abysmal and they rattle themselves to bits. nobody buys a 10 year old lincoln but everyone buys a 10 year old landcruiser, or did i make a mistake in thinking that hummer just went bust due to poor sales and pontiac aswell, because nobody purchased them due to them being pieces of junk.

@NFLdude505 , I do know about cars, lexus and toyota have far better quality control than lincoln which is effectivley ford which is why they sell better and have better resale, and how they more than double the sale of lincoln. Anyone who knows anything about cars knows this. enjoy your lincoln with its peeling chrome and broken plastic after 10 years. Australia wont even accept lincoln becuase its such junk.

@terador2010 , first of all , you do not own 4 four wheel drives especially as the lexus and toyota are nearly the same that is just silly, and you can't even spell Traction. Secondly do you know anything about differentials and low range? or do you go mudding in your low profile chrome rims?. May i direct your attention to the top gear video where the range rover races a hummer H2 and a Escalade up the mountain, they do not even make it up, only the Range Rover, and enough swearing uncouth pig.

I have a 08 Lincoln Navigator, anyone talking smack about it A) Hasn't driven one and B) Cant afford one. Ive towed with mine with a Uhaul car trailer with a 4000lb car on it and frankly I could barely tell I was towing except from take off, once rolling along it has plenty of power and I got good gas mileage as well. Ford did a great job with this one, if you need a big SUV you cant really go wrong.The Escalade looks a little nicer on the outside but is very plastic feeling on the inside.

@MrColdStove I get about 18 in the city and 25+ on the highway. I would recommend this vehicle as it basically drives itself if you just steer it. Glad I own one. Its like being in a big easy chair.

The Esclade looks better inside and out. The Esclade is also a more reliable vehicle, with a car like drive. I haven't reseached Land Rover yet.

its soo dated they just changed the front clip and puts some big tail lights on it.Everything they changed made it worse beside the interior which is def. the wrong color. GM is marketing to young people with money and lincolns got a death grip on the retired/elderly demographic.

I"ve seen some of the newer big conversion Van equipt with 39 inch Plasma TV, second row recliner with footress and bunch of cool stuff, I think you can build your own converson van for the 3rd of the cost of the newer navigator.

This is a very nice truck. The interior is great for long trips and the air ride can't be beat. Only 300hp but 360ib of torque is what you want. Torque is what pulls you back in the seat. and this truck has an impressive amount of torque. This truck serves it's purpose.Torque is what gets you going, If you had all power and no torque you won't get anywhere.

Escalade FTW! The 6.2 has about 100 hp more and it gets better gas mileage on the highway with this same in the city. In my opinion it is way better.

It's a luxury SUV. It's a taxi here too but that doesn't change that fact that's it's a Luxury vehicle. I know from the fact that I own one.
I don't care if it's a taxi. The Rolls Royce phantom can be a taxi. You can have any car as a taxi it's a business.
The only other car to compare the Navigator to is (example) the Esclade. I am just making a point here. P.S. it's a waste of money to have the Phantom as a taxi When you can have a Lexus LS. The Phantom is a work of art not made to be a taxi.
