If you have it, would you mind also posting the scene of Chow Yun-fat and his buddy in the cemetery where they both start to sing this song? Thank you.
that part when Chow Yun Fat and the other guy whose name i forgot just escaped from jail then played with each other in the water fall is a very touching scene i remember it for years. they were under water, put their arm on each other's arm and looked up the sky while this song is played...
those films were classics, love em

How often does a movie character burn himself into one's memory, as vividly as an old friend's?

@nooyawkfun
Indeed. A very well-written movie character, one that stays with you. Impossible to forget.

"Hauntingly beautiful". Truly, the most appropriate description of this interpretation.

this song's melody is off one of Danny Chan's song

I later learned that it was originally a love song.
It was changed into a song of regret for the movie.
The melody was unchanged though. Only the lyrics were rewritten.

This song is beautiful. Elvis Tsui was no joke in this movie, though!!!

whats the title of this song, where can i find the mp3 ??
ottomobile55 4 years ago
No "official" name in English, Chinese lyrics posted at Electric Shadows.
Title could be translated as "Wishing for Pleasant Dreams."
Don't know if MP3 is available.
Audio CDs available on Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Try these searches in Chinese:
希盼得好夢 [movie version]
今霄多珍重 [pop version, alternate lyrics]
thechinadesk 4 years ago
I located another version on the net.
YouTube won't let me post the web address, so I've posted it at my blog "Electric Shadows." Live link on my YouTube homepage.
Same singer I believe, slightly different treatment.
Click on 10.mp3 to either download or play.
Other versions will be added if and when I can find them.
