I loved that scene where Mxyzptlk responds to the Superfriends' question by showing we, the audience, that there was literally nothing up his sleeve. This was one of my favorite episodes after all of the Challenge Of The Superfriends episodes.

I can see a man of tin rusting since tin that was used to build stuff did have iron in it, otherwise it would be too soft, or else the joints could be reinforced by iron. But transmuting it to lead with heat vision... well, this was the time that writers just pulled any kind of power for Superman out of their ass, right?

Why did the SuperFriends get attacked by Jawas, which are from Star Wars? Shouldn't it been Munchkins or Flying monkeys? That would have made more sense.

I think the writers of this cartoon failed science class. Heat doesn't turn tin in to lead. But since this is a cartoon I guess anything can happen.
