You guys need to get the Game Boy Color version on 3DS Virtual Console once that's up and running. While the game is good no matter what system you play it on, the GBC version is in a league of its own. Seriously people, you'll swear you're playing a GBA game!

In the actual game is Toki Tori rendered in 3D or is he made of very detailed sprites? I can't tell.

Also, everyone calls him a chicken, but his feet are webbed like a duck's. Which is he?

He's neither a chick nor a duck. In fact, he's more like a combination of the two. So I think it's safe so call him a Chuck or... a Dick, whatever you prefer ;-)

The sprites that are used in-game are pre-rendered from high-detail 3D models.

Got my 1000 wii points today. Spent 900 on Toki Tori. And this is no dissapointment. Almost exactly what I wanted. I loved the GBC game. This is the same game, but polished for the Wii console. And they have done a great job. Alltho, I loved the music in the GBC version, and think the music on the WiiWare version is a little too refined. But, no matter what. If you gonna buy one game from the European WiiWare channel from launch titles, this is definetly the one worth getting.

Also, I've gotta say that you guys have some pretty clever ideas; for example, the gameplay footage being pulled past the camera by the vacuum. And the style in the full-CGI parts reminds me of something Aardman would do...
