Seriously, if anyone had a problem with this extremely well made low budget commercial, then they have to check in on their own personal issues with "stereo-typing" and "homophobia". As a gay man, this not only made me laugh and want to buy me some Doritos, but it also made me very proud that we have reached a point in history when we can exemplify product placement ads and can enjoy a good laugh with the best of them. I look forward to more work by this director. BRAVO!!
I could tell where it was going, and, well, I just don't know - more than anything, it seems to be playing on the black/white angle - a sheepish white guy peeking to see how well hung the black guy is. otherwise, it is fun/funny.
Frito Lay is trying to "distance" themselves from this commercial and have it removed from YouTube. Let them know that if they are so opposed to gay consumers, that you will also be distancing yourself from their products.
