Thats not synth Drums i actually knwo the drummer and he's a really good drummer. He was at the studio at the time and he was asked to drum it. He learned it quickly and just did it. but Look bac at original rock. it sounds kinda poppy. Rock and pop have always been close. To be honest, It's all mostly the same and defined to each individual by what our feelings for the song tell us. but in reality it's all mostly blended in as one these days.
