I've heard AC is part of a trilogy, could be false though. This game isn't related to AC is it? Just the characters costume(the whole white hood thing) looks similar as well as the idea of total interactive freedom.

Completely different developer, similar hero yeas, definitely a rip-off of Altair, but aside from that, this game has no relation to Assassin's Creed.
