  • do you use a full pump?

  • yeah toners r not necessary i only use it to dry out pimpless :D

  • the clarisonic is great if u really wanna invest in ur skin! it is durable and the bristles are very dense and it iss just...great with the exception that it is expensive :(

  • the olay pro-x cleansing brush is about 30 bucks and it's really good!

  • love how the sunlight shines on your face...it gives a really warm feeling especially when watching it during the winter.

  • Quite fascinating video on how to make your skin a lot more beautiful! Acne just isn't only damaging for ones skin, but also to mental health: It would not be nice to hear folks often mocking you for your acne! Thus some persons pay through their nose just to go for cosmetic surgery. Nevertheless I have come across a rather effortless and much cheaper way to remove acne, Youtube won't let me post the link here so I put it on my profile. Enjoy!

  • Try Clarisonic Pro skin care brush... Really Cleans!

  • You also can moisturize your skin with Shea Butter!

  • someone else who uses prupose OMG! :D i thought i was the only one, it has love it, its so cheap and simple but does the job. I tried it after neutrogena was still to harsh and it's just i dunno awesome. Thank for letting me know im not the only person out there with my silly unheard of face wash... I LIKE it better then cetaphil too. XD

  • i think that your face did got better from your skin now..

do you still use the same routine..

  • I loooove how simple this routine is.

  • I have the grape seed moisturizer but it makes me break out when i use it during the night. I'm pretty sure it's bc it has spf. and i know spf isn't good for the night time.

Love the purpose cleanser though :)

  • I got the Purpose cleanser after I saw this, but unfortunately it doesn't really work that well for me, idk if it's 'cos I'm using too little or too much but it doesn't clean my skin that well :( that's strange it dries you skin out while it barely cleans my skin though, hmmm

I can't wait to try the Merlot moisturizer, but I have a bottle of Olay Complete to finish -_-

  • toner is actually bad for your skin :) it doesnt benefit skin atall.

  • @KiraShimMers1 You're wrong, some toners can remove dirt from your skin.

  • @GirlThatCanParty240 yes thats true, but its strips your skin of its natural oils while its at it. :) lol im not just making this up. i speak with a dermatoligist quite regularly and ive heard this mant times before. toners are just unnecessary. you can use it if it works for you tho.

  • @KiraShimMers1 I get your point but toners that has alcohol in it will strip it your skin. I've used a Alcohol-free toners for about a year and I've had any problems with my skin.

  • @GirlThatCanParty240 yes. alcohol free toners are better, but for people with dry skin toners are usually too harsh and not good for their skin. alcohol free toners are ok for people with oily skin tho i guess.

  • thumbs up for your video, i myself wanted to hear reviews about this purpose gentle cleansing wash, I agree its more gentler cleansing and more cleansing, better than cetaphil antibacterial, this stuff is good!!!

  • @SpyderT22 Neutrogena oil free moisturizer for oily/combination skin. (:

  • did u say soap free?

  • Why do so many asian people do these types of vids?

  • @MrExit15 why do so many white people do these types of videos?

why do so many black people do these types of videos?

because they want to. its not a certain race thats doing it.

    this was a racist question

  • @MrExit15 what's wrong with Asians?

  • I love Purpose. I'm still trying to find a moisturizer that works for me. :\ Any people have suggestions? I have oily skin.

  • Where can I get that moisturizer?!?!?!?!

  • well...ifu think its still not enought u can use an essance for me i use olay total effects7 serum under olays total efect 7s cream but now im just using nivea soft face/body/hand mostieriser with out anything underneath BUT it leaves my tzone a lil oily but its not a prob if im not wearing make up but i never triedit with make up....

  • Where can I get that moisturizer?

  • Ur really pretty. ;)

What yer skin type? Mine is oily/combo. Do u think those products will work for me? And wat bout toner?

  • can teenagers use the merlot grapeseed moisturizer? cuz it's like anti wrinkle.

  • @Undakeeify

    always.

It's great to prevent aging; so much more effective than trying to get rid of wrinkles after you get them. =]

  • i use clean and clear continous acne control facial cleanser...its really strong..10% benzolye peroxide ....I wonder if purpose will have any effects on my skin which is used to stronger products

  • @therealengadomingue 10% is way to strong you have to start of with a small amount e.g. 2.5% and then build up to 5% because it will literally burn your skin be careful and use it once a day and a very very small amount :\ hope you go well I was thinking of getting it but my mum is a nurse and she was like no way you have to start of with a small amount :@ how is it??

  • @therealengadomingue:

I used that product for awhile, and I realized that it made my skin lighter. But it keeps your skin clear. :)

  • I have never had a battery powered face scrubber, however I use a manual face brush I bought from Sephora. It was like 5 dollars and it works great!

I use it only at night either at the sink or while i am taking a bath. I just go in circles with my facial cleanser for about 1-2 minutes and it really suds up the cleanser, exfoliates, and it is even helping my skin texture. I highly suggest getting one especially since the battery ones are very expensive and probably does just as good of a job.

  • i went to walgreens to get the moisturizer but there was no more left. i was like, man! cuz i went out specially to walgreens to get the moisturizer. i'm gonna go again soon hopefully. and theyd better have it ^____^

  • can you use hand sanitizer for face wash????i know very weird ?

  • @converse401 it might give you a rash.. you think? hahaha

  • @converse401 probaly not, since it has all that alcohol in it

  • purpose is amazing!

  • Traveling ALWAYS kills my skin! tips, carry a travels size cleanser, facial spray for rehydrating, and travel size cream. Cause without those, my skin just dies! lol

  • damn .. even with out make up .. ur still va va voom .. sigh

  • lol I lik the beginning of this video. "If you guys manage listening to my voice you can go away." haha its funny.

  • clean and clear stuff breaks me out! D= it gives me lyk a stinging sensation and then i get breakouts

  • AGREE on the purpose cleanser!!! i think it also clears all my make up...

  • after you put on the moisturizer with the spf 15, can you just put on like foundation and powder on your face? would the moisturizer still protect your face from the sun even if there's foundation layer on top of it? thx.

  • that stuff looks like hand sanitizer 1:29

  • if u wanna get a new one i recomend the clarasonic

  • my face gets dry during the winter time too.

    cool video :]

hey everyone, follow me on twitter: jayrisk00L

    thanks!

  • Would you recommend the Merlot Grape Seed Moisturizer for someone who has semi-dry skin??

  • you are absolutely right, toner is USELESS unless it has some kind of glycolic acid in it.

  • i kinda like the way ur voice sounds! loll :)

  • they have the spinning brush face wash at sephora. it looks like that one too.

  • i use purpose to to even the moisturizer i like it even before i always put make with it so cool it never drie

  • you guys the tool she uses to exfoliate can be replaced by a automatic TOOTHBRUSH! Mmmhmmm....

  • Wow thanks! I really wanna buy the clarisonic but this will DEFINETLY hold me over for christmas! =) Thanks!!!!!!

  • no problem ;)

  • Thanks for the tips. I also use the Purpose gentle cleansing wash and find it does get the oil/make-up off, and does as good of a job as the more expensive brands. Im at a point where I may ditch a toner as well. Thanks again!

  • @CathyRas65 Your welcome!

  • @macluver35 have you bought the clarisonic? it's soooooooo amazing

  • no sadly i haven't yet... but i hope to go and get it on valentines day! =)

  • @macluver35 oh! you should definitely get the mia (saves money wise, and just as effective!) but are you getting it on valentine's day for no reason? or is there a sale? haha

  • lol I don't think there will EVER be a sale for clarisonics! but i have been saving for it since the first of this month and Im super excited for my mom to take me to sephora! (im only 13) so that's why! =)

  • @macluver35 haha i meant like the friends and family sales they have at sephora, but yeah i wish...lol. i saved up for mine for several months too, i'm 14 years old, so i think we can relate :)

  • oh, well you seem like a really really nice person! i went to your channel and it's cool. =)

  • where cann you get these things in england xxx love the videoss xx

  • where do you get the moisturizer she has

  • can you do a room tour

  • why do you wear foundation!? with such BEAUTFIUL skin you should be flanting it all natural! your skin is so pretty show it off!

  • i think she just likes a more airbrushed effect :)u know pure perfect lol :)

  • For the brush thing (&for those of you that have money to spare), the Clarisonic brush from Sonicare is an excellent product. Just google it up and you'll find it.

  • your skin is soo white and beautiful :)

  • The purpose soap is the best ever. haha, I love the bar and I have the pump too. I have acne problems and it works wonderfully. I love your videos and I just started watching them about an hour ago. hah, I think I might pick up that grape seed moisturizer.

  • Do you know any other moisture face cream a bit richer than the one you are using now?

  • You can use Aveeno mosturizer, its natural, also just olive oil!

  • I use the same cleanser and scrub, Idk if its working for my skin though.. (acne sucks! :[ )

  • Amen to that.

  • they one of those spinny washer things at walmart:) it cost 50 though

  • Where can u get the merlot I really want to try it

  • your pretty!

    thanks for the tips

  • do you moisterizer before going to bed?

  • You should *always* moisturize before you go to bed! That's when your skin repairs the most.

  • I know right! having a night routine is really important..I know I have one and ever since I developed a routine my skin has been looing better and better!

  • @ParadeOf91 thanks for the tip! :)

  • @ParadeOf91 really? lol thanks for the tip because i would always go to bed after i washed my face and my skin was dry

  • you can buy on similar to the conair on at sephora but its a bit more pricey

  • johnson and johnson test on animals :/

  • You said purpose works better than cetaphil to remove makeup, what if I don't wear makeup...ten which one should I use?

  • I use purpose and it does wonders for my skin. I haven't tried cetaphil, but I would DEFINITELY recommend using purpose instead.

  • dont u use any spf?

  • spf 15 in her moisturizer

  • sweeet. im gonna try that merlot thing out. i've been using olay..and it's really thick, and makes my face all oily and slick. grosssseroni.

    well, thanks!

  • For a moustirizer I use ponds cold cream it helps get gunk out (working with the purpose) but moisturizes at the same time.

  • i have oily skin during the summer so wat is a good, inexpensive moisterizer i can buy?

  • For oily skin? (like mine) You have to use a cleaner of some sort like the purpose she mentioned, spectra jel or Cetaphil (it goes from 9 to 14 bucks) For moisturizer, clinic has really great ones but there a little pricier, ponds cold cream (4 dollars at Walgreen's or target), for combination an olay moisturizer will work great (9-20)

A really good way to help maintain little oil would be using a nuetragena product like the deep clean cleanser (its oil free) . Hope it helps.

  • i use the olay anit-aging stuff on my forehead and under my eyes every now in then because my skin is crazzzyyyy sensitive so i use it about 2 to 3 times a week. i can def feel a difference when i put it on its as though my skin just relaxes lol.

  • is astringent the same as toner?

  • yup

  • they still sell those conair things on the conair website.

  • xteener, I would recommend you use Clean & Clear's Foaming Facial Cleanser (also made by Johnson & Johnson) because it has EXACTLY the same ingredients in the SAME ingredient order, gives you 2 more oz. of product, and costs $2 less.

  • Wrong.

    Purpose: Water , PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate , Sodium Laureth Sulfate , Cocamidopropyl Betaine , PEG-150 Distearate , Sodium Lauroampho PG-Acetate Phosphate , Fragrance , Quaternium-15 , Tetrasodium EDTA

    C&C Foaming: Triclosan 0.25% (Antiseptic)

BHT, Butylparaben, C9-15 Alkyl Phosphate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Ethylparaben, Fragrance, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Lauric Acid, Methylparaben, Myristic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Red 40, Triethanolamine, Water, Yellow 10

  • I stand corrected, and thank you for the clarification.

My source of information was Paula Begoun's book: "Don't Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me, 7th Edition"

  • any recommendations for on the sport treatment for blemishes?

  • I just got some avon and the glazewear lip color in nude attitude is aweome! It works like a chap stick but it has like a natural shine. It's not very shiny, its like a clear color, but it has a color, to make your lips look more natural shine, instead of just a clear gloss. For people who don't want glossy gloss, and just a natural lip shine you should really try it!

  • Clarisonic is a really good exfoliating spinny brush! I think it is around $30.

    XD

  • This is so helpfull!!!you have helped me with my makeup, hair, and fashion! I can really say you are a wonderful guru whose videos I swear by. Thank you!

  • Is your full name christina or is it just Tina?

  • Purpose is my favorite cleanser!~ =)

  • I been trying Aquafina Overnight Recovery Retinyl Complex Moisturizer. It goes on like water also and absorbers into your skin. The downside is if you use too much you might feel like you are sweating. But a little goes a long way. The best way I can describe the smell is fresh...and it reminds me of the ocean. I really love the smell though. ^_^

  • You can purchase the conair facial steamer that comes with the exfoliating brush at Bed Bath and Beyond.

  • I love this video.You're co sweet,and friendly

  • a very good eyecream sample i got was from marios badescu hydralonic (not sure about spelling) eyecream. it's been awesome so far...and i'll probably by the full size after my samples is used up :)

  • how often do you change your face wash/toner/moisturizer?

  • i think toothbrush would be a great pair with the exfoliant..

  • from reading your info, it actually is a bit early to start on using anti-wrinkle creams until you are in your EARLY/MID TWENTIES! They can be harmful if they are used wayyy to early, and I don't believe you have reached your twenties yet! lol

and this is what my doctor/derm has informed me of...and yea, gotta trust them! i mean really, they have the degree...lol :D

  • she's already 22/23...

  • seriously!?!?!

    oh my goodness!

    she looks sooo much younger!

I was guessing she was like what...at least 16 years old, and no older than 18!

wow, i'm utterly stunned. she has such a young face.

  • OLIVE OIL, GENTLY MASSAGED INTO THE SKIN, FOR 3 TO 5 MINUTES, TWICE A DAY. GREAT EFFECTIVE MOSTERISER. HAS REJUVANATING PROPERTIES, ACCORDING TO WEBSITES. iT'S VERY OILY ON THE SKIN HENCE MASSAGE TILL ABSORBED BY SKIN. APPARANTLY, GOOD FOR ACNE SCARS AS WELL.

A GOOD, CHEAP AFFECTIVE WAY TO EXFLOARATE THE SKIN NATURALY, RUB HALF A TOMATOE ON YOUR SKIN, LEAVE FOR 15 AT LEAST, RINSE OFF WITH WATER, MAKES SKIN SMOOTH, HEALTHY GLOW.

TOOTH PASTE ON ZITS, LEFT OVER NIGHT, GOOD FOR SPOTS.

  • virgin olive oil is actually a very natural and good makeup remover! it sounds weird/gross, but it really works!

  • I need some help, I went to click on play and accidentally clicked on the low star rating and thats not what i want to give her, is there a way i can cancle it? Im so sorry

  • jUST VISIT BLOG AGAIN, AND RECLICK ON STARS. HOPE THAT HELPS. LOL.

  • can u please do the merlot moisurizer review?

  • i used clean and clear facewash and it made me break out ! :/

so now i use dove facewash then my i moisture with lubiderm

  • ive been looking 4 doves facewash and i cant find it!!! dove is the only thing tht works 4 me:)

  • really?

i usually get it in walmart or target

  • purpose makes your skin feel clean, but it dries it out a whole lot!!!

  • ROC eye cream will always be the best =)

  • Electric toothbrush*

  • you can use a toothbrush with your scrub ,

to evenly and consistently exfoliate your face.

  • anti wrinkle eye cream from Clinique is amazing! its natural and has such a clean smell!

  • is that the all about eyes? i have a sample and im using it. dont really know what its supposed 2 do but it is moisturizing.

  • you look exactly like my soccer coach!

  • Great Video!

  • Attention!

If you use the Clarisonic brush, please follow the directions and "DO NOT use the Clarisonic Brush with mechanical exfoliants such as microbeads and shells."

The Clean&Clear Morning Burst facial scrub contains microbeads!

So, take the risk if you follow her suggestions.

  • haha, um,

i think toner is always recommended.

I read from somewhere, it lcoses hte pores so dirty stuff dont get trapped in the pores.

    ....

  • awwh, your soo cute, looks sorta like my niece : D

  • wow i once had perfect skin but no more and btw ur skin is perfect

  • hello ......anybody know where to buy the merlot & purpose????..........i'm live in uk...help me please.....thanks for all

  • hello

  • hello, your skin sounds a lot like mine..i also have combination skin and i dont really tend to get breakouts often but once in a while. what i use is the cetaphil gentle cleansing bar, it is a non-soap bar and wont irritate or break out the skin and for a moisturizer i use the clean and clear oil free dual action moisturizer..these two products have definitely saved my skin and i really recommend them. i also do not use a toner..i dont really find it necessary.

  • does the merlot moisturize have any fragnance

  • u do have perfect skin

  • no.

  • A similar product to your machine would be the Clarisonic. I have one, and it works well for my oily skin. It does an awesome job of removing makeup (I believe it is 6x more than regular washing). It comes with 4 mini facial washes, each for different skin types. It's a good product, I think, although the price is slightly ridiculous. :)

  • do u still use this skin care routine does it still work?

  • if you want an eye cream for anti wrinkle. then u should get roc its a german band but it sells at CVS. its a bit pricey for a drugstore brand but it works!

  • i first tried the purpose lotion WAY back then about five years ago and i loved it.

and i've always saw this cleanser right next to it but never gave it a second chance.

now my acne is getting pretty bad and i just purchased this cleanser. thanks for all the advice:)

  • i think you should use simple it is natural and such a great product try it.

  • um i reccomend the garnier skin renew anti-puff eye roller for the eye thingy

cream can give you white heads under your eyes because of the moisture

but this stif is like a cooling gel and it doesnt go on heavy

(: ive been using it for a month, and my eyes look wayyy more "awake" and "brighter"

    got it at cvs_12 bucks

  • u can use a electric tooth brush for your face.. i know the brush is really small, and it will take way more time.. but t works just as great and perfect for using with light scrub.

  • the clarisonic is similar to that face brush thing u have

  • i hate when i have dry skin on the side of my nose and i will recommend your tips..thanks! and i do use clean and clear morning burst as well..works good.

  • you should try out the alba green tea moisturizer - it's oil free, moisturizing, hypo-allergenic, and 100% vegetarian, no animal testing, and it's also pH balanced

It doesn't have SPF though, but it's great to use at night. I have oily skin that's prone to blemishes and it doesn't make me break out

    Just a rec :)

  • i love your voice even like this!

i would so not stop watching haha

    nice videox

  • Thanks for posting this video. I may give this a try. I've tried a lot of products. I have combination skin. For about a week I've been using ACV as a toner and a site I saw before said to use regular soup as a cleansers. This has helped a little bit, but I haven't seen drastic change.

  • witch foaming face cleanser is really good. Its not expensive.

  • Purpose cleanser is awesome. I agree about Cetaphil too. I use Dan Kern's Regimen for acne (battled acne for years, finally won the war using the Regimen!) and initially used Cetaphil. Although the 2.5% BP cleared me up, I found that I never really got clean with cetaphil. Purpose even takes off some waterproof mascara!

I use Dove Deep moisture SPF15 face lotion which complements Purpose very nicely.

FYI: purpose cleanser retails for under $5.

  • Have been using this new eye serum: Garnier Skin Renew with anti-puff eye roller, its inexpensive and effective, perfect for before putting make up on in the morning, try it!

  • wow.

    your skin is sooo clear!

i think im going to try those products out, but are they expensive ?

  • how old are u? cauz like it might not work to my skin because im too young. yaknow. anyways im only 13 years old. soo do u think it might work to my face?

  • i would recommend not using anything but sunscreen until you have any skin concerns :) but i started using clearsil for my acne in hs and it worked wonders and i still use it!

  • if i use thos pruduct. do i have to use those in the same time? or like what should go first ?

  • Its the Conair Microderabrasion kit, thats where the spinning brush is from.

  • I'm pretty sure you've heard of this already but an awesome spinning brush for facial cleansing is sonicare's Clarisol. pursebuzz did a good review on it too.

  • Hi there! about the anti-wrinkle cream I don´t know how old are you but I am 24 and I was using a Garnier anti-wrinkle cream, actually my first and last anti-wrinkle product (for now), you should star using anti-wrinkle products after your 30, because if you start earlier you are going to be giving your skin a product that it does not need yet and the result is going to be premature wrinkles!! hope this works, see ya.

  • Revlon came out with a similar product a couple of years agoo, i got one for christmas, and also there was a new vibrating one that another company came out with not too long ago, not sure if its worth investing in though

  • for anti-wrinkling

i like using burts bees naturally ageless.

i use it and i'm only a sophomoree in high school, haha

  • w
